About the Business
Wildlife Rehabilitation | Woodlands Wildlife Sanctuary | Ontario | WWS is dedicated to the rescue, rehabilitation, and release of sick, orphaned and injured wildlife. A volunteer-based charity where most species of wildlife, with the exception of raccoons, are accepted. The sanctuary is strictly a rehabilitation centre and is not open to public visitation or tours.

Great spot run by dedicated people who truly care for the animals they rescued. Had a quick chat with them and was very impressed. But shame it's not open to the public to be able to see the progress of the animals being cared there.

A place where humans really care about wildlife. So willing to help and so friendly. We are lucky to have places like this. As a former wildlife volunteer, I want to say PLEASE CONSIDER TO DONATE to WWS to support their enormous efforts in wildlife care.

This is where the wolf sanctuary is as well as a place that serves a variety of smoked meats. There is a great hiking trail and many other things to do. Here are some pics I took.

If injured or orphaned animals are found, this is the place in Minden to call. They handle a wide area and can advise you who to call if you are too far away. They care. PS watch out for turtles and help where you can.
