For those who want to learn and appreciate the musical heritage of London, Ontario, this is the place to be. Using a remodeled former jewelry store, this place is tastefully appointed trophies, mementoes of past musicians and concert space for live performances.Just learning such bizarre concert playlists in retrospect like Rush and KISS in the same concert is alone worth a visit.

I've been to the Forest City London Music Hall of Fame several times. Each time I learn more about the music scene in London going back well before my 60+ yrs. It is a blast to see people I know recognized for their talent. Aside from the wonderful exhibits, stage and refreshments, it is refreshing to have volunteers so full of knowledge that they wish to share. Wow!On two occassions I've seen great live entertainment there.Watch their facebook page or website for new displays, special events, inductions, etc. Word needs to spread about this great place. Ask about volunteer opportunities!

Canada's only city-specific Music Hall of Fame. From Guy Lombardo, The Band, Graham Lear (Santana's and Paul Anka's drummer) to Tommy Hunter, Gordie Tapp, John P. Allen (Prairie Oyster), to Kittie, The Demics, '63 Monroe, Sheep Look Up and many many more.Full of cool collectable music memorabilia from the original artists, and an amazing space, circa 1880's, (former Nash Jewellers site since 1918, preserved).A great meeting spot where local musicians (including inductees) drop in. Rotating themed displays. Guided tours. Live stage, bar, tables and stools used during special occasions. Wheelchair accessible with wheelchair accessible modern washrooms available. Ballroom on second floor inaccessible to wheelchairs.Open Saturdays noon to 4 in summer, noon to 5 rest of year. Admission free, donations greatly appreciated. Truly a gem!
