A truly unfortunate experience. I went here for a full biogel set and left with an absolutely tragic set of nails. I asked for a simple short, almond shaped, French tip. I was given misshapen, thick nails that were way too long. I asked for them to shorten my nails a bit and was told by the owner that I would need to pay for another full set.SUPER disappointed!!! Wish I would’ve had a better experience. The Instagram looks so pretty. The owner is extremely rude and wouldn’t fix the atrocious set of nails that was done. So sad. Now I have hideous nails for the holidays.Do NOT recommend.

My manicure by Jenny was great. Unfortunately, my pedicure by Ivy was not as great. She was in a rush and cut me. Sad that I had specifically asked, when making the appt, for a tech that was not going to cut me and even more sad that I didn't get what I asked for. It was definitely not a relaxing experience.

Unhappy with the quality of work done - there are many other artists that good but Jessica was just not one of them unfortunately. The entire process felt rushed. I asked for a coffin shape. Did not deliver. The nails are not all the same length. The middle finger is much shorter than the rest. When asked to make it the same length was responded to with attitude. She did attempt to fix it but only on one hand.The nail polish on top is so thick that it takes away from any square shape that could be present. (even though i wanted coffin) Its more like a rounded bubbled square shape not crisp at all.Most of the time artists take each nail on either finger and match up the lengths, she didnt even compare the shapes with one another she just shaped it and let it go. didn't care to look at the lengths. I know other artists like kelly are meticulous with shaping but she didnt even make all the tops even.Although i love Kelly, i will not be coming back anymore.

Been coming here for so many years and I cannot say enough good things. Vy is always so kind, accommodating and amazing at what she does. Diana and all other nails techs are so talented!

I’ve been a customer for the past seven years, this is the best nail salon in Oakville. I’ve never had a bad experience, the staff is super friendly and do amazing job on my nails and feet. Love it here!!!!!!

I had the most seamless experience with essence beauty salon. It started with me finding them on IG & sending them a picture of what I wanted. The person who replied set me up with Diana who could not have been a better fit. She was extremely experienced, walked me through her thought process (as I was getting an almond shape for the first time) and she made my nails look very natural. The salon was beautiful and not once did I have to ask Diana to fix anything (which in the past at other salons I've had to watch over everything) I would highly recommend going here if you want your nails done right the first time!

It was my first time to this salon and Jan was awesome! She gave me exactly what I asked for and my gel fill took only 45 minutes. Will be retuning for sure!

The ONLY nail salon I can trust to do my nails! Vy is always does my nails so well, files the shape perfectly, and is very quick. They have lots of options to chose from, are very friendly, and have great prices. I would definitely recommend this salon.

Went today to treat my mom for her birthday. We had been here before a couple weeks back and thought the service was good. However, today it was a different story. Kathy, who did my mom's nails had an attitude almost the whole time.The paint job on her nails ended up looking absolutely atrocious, my mom pointed out that she didn't like one of the colors and Kathy completely ignored her. When she saw her next client come in she jumped out of her seat and just left my mom without saying anything else.The owner was very nice and tried to fix the situation, but we didn't have any more time available. All the other ladies are quite nice, but the whole situation left a bad taste in my mouth. I won't be returning.
