I brought in a very old pair of my husbands favorite boots for some repair. The gentlemen that works here not only fixed the broken heels, but made them look new! Very friendly, very reasonable prices, great customer service, highly recommend!

A craftsman shop located on the Eastern end of Hertel Avenue - same side as Walgreens Pharmacy and across from Kostas Restaurant. Parallel parking can be limited, no wheelchair spot or entrance, but lots of parking on the side streets - shade trees, too.This teensy establishment has the charm of a bygone era, but don’t be fooled; a cobbler is a must when purchasing quality footwear!I had two boots stretched as the arches were a tad snug after wearing for a couple hours. One week ETA at $15 each and I now have two pairs of perfectly pinch-less and painless punters.The shoeologist is conscientious, saying that I could try the shoes to ensure they would fit. Two old chairs in the micro “lobby” were available, but as I was already three hours behind schedule, I didn’t try them til later. The owner did offer to stretch them again, for FREE, if they were still tight. They fit and have worn them each for a couple hours… shoe bliss!The store’s hours listed are correct-ish. Their is a handwritten sign in front of the register with adjusted Summer hours. I was not able to see the sign through the window due to sunglare, so I recommend calling first.

Jimmie’s is fantastic. Phenomenal service and wonderful conversation. Repaired my scuffed leather boots with great skill with care.

Gentlemen is extremely friendly and the shop has an old time touch that is refreshing. Can't wait to get my boots back. 5 days wait time isn't surprising when the whole front end is filled with all types of footware waiting to be picked up! The place reeks of uniqueness and I will definitely frequent this place

Businesses like this make me miss the traditional high street shopping experience. Jimmie provides wonderful customer service, a genuine appreciation for your patronage, and he even managed to remember my name, amidst the many customers he must service each week.He also posses a remarkable skillset for breathing new life into a cherished, but tired pair of boots. He is a true craftsman, that I wish I had found many years ago...

Joe was very professional and welcoming. Great job! I also loved the nostalgia of the shop, especially the antique cash register! Puts me in the mind of the old shoe repair shops of days gone by!

The owner is awesome, we brought a pair of fire fighter bunker pants here. The button that is riveted on to hold the suspenders to the pants had broken off and no tailor had the tools to fix it. Jimmy's had it done in 5 minutes, thanks for taking care of us!
