Budget Car Rental

After we had a horrible experience at another car rental, we just walked in hoping to rent a car asap! Mario helped us out finding us the car we needed at a great price! No problem at the drop off either. Highly recommend ;)

Do not rent at this place... Customer service is horrible the clerk didn't not check gas level when he gave us the truck. Now he want us to pay for full tank even is the truck was not full to begin with. Also the clerk didn't car of any explanation the only thing he was saying is that is doesn't care of this job and is was quitting in 2 week. I would not go back to this location ever again

Location is a bit tricky to get in and out of, but the lady at the front desk is fantastic. Very professional and kind. I have been to this location a few times, always a great experience. Cars are always new, well maintained, and most importantly, the service is consistent - you will get the car that you reserved. Also I never have to wait for long to get my car.

Been in line for 45 minutes. Only two staff on. And now one is taking a break even though there’s 9 people waiting in the line.The most unorganized company I’ve ever seen. It takes 15 minutes to serve each person. You know how many bookings you have, put the right amount of staff to service the bookings !

Great service. Good prices. Easy all included deals. Gps and insurance included in the price.

They’re really bad with customers !! They charged me $47.50 for nothing !! I didn’t even book with them !! Avoid this place !! Scammers

I’ve never experienced such terrible service from such a large and well known company. I would strongly suggest an alternative rental service unless you want to risk your entire trip on “if” they have your car available. This is not aimed specifically at Budget Dorval but all of Budget in general - Budget Dorval did the best they could. Long details below.I ordered a rental about 3 weeks in advance of an important event from Budget near the Montreal Airport. 2 hours before pickup I received a call saying there was no vans available and they most likely won’t have any the following morning either. I asked if I could receive 2 regular car rentals instead - however they had no cars at all left. They told me to call customer care - they attempted to find me a rental at a competitor but since it was so last minute - they were unable to find any vans available in the area. I had to scramble, drive 60 km out to pickup a regular car rental instead of the van, find another driver and then use my own vehicle to avoid completely ruining the entire weekend. We then had to pay for 2 sets of parking, gas, Uber, etc. Since we were unable to get the van.All this was explained to 2 customer care agents who mentioned to email with the receipts of the gas and Uber rides for compensation.In the end, I was only offered a free car rental voucher - when I explained I don’t need the rental voucher since I didn’t plan on renting from budget again; they said there is nothing else they can do. I strongly urge you not to rely on this company if you have important plans that revolve around your car rental. Simply choose another service that will ensure they have enough vehicles for you.

I didn't book with them but had a nail puncture a tire on a rental I had driven in from Ontario. I called Pierrefonds Budget and they were useless, told me to go to the airport. I called the airport about 10 times and no one ever picked up. Finally I called these guys and they were super helpful, told me to bring the car in and they'd switch the tire. Made sure I knew where they were located and had enough air in the tire to get there. When I got there they took me in about 10 minutes and the tire swap was done about 20 minutes later, no charge to the account and I was back on the road and in vacation mode once again. Really appreciated their customer service, fast and helpful.
