Your Dollar Store With More

Had exa tly what I was looking for and the staff were extremely helpful.

Many items are not clearly priced and a shock at the till...definitely an emphasis on MORE (than a dollar!).

Cheap stuff from China that breaks easily and you need to buy again. Ie. Permanent ink marker that broke as I was uncapping it for the very first time!All this stuff is cheap Chinese garbage.

Arrived from out of province with special balloons for a family members 40th birthday. Asked the clerks if they could fill them with helium, “not those balloons, we can’t fill those balloons” in a very stern tone. Although the balloons were purchased elsewhere, we would still happily pay for helium - probably a loss of close to $20 for the store to fill three large balloons. Throw me a bone for goodness sake - now I have to drive around town for helium? Not to mention, across town on a busy Friday afternoon in horrible traffic. The store lost business, for what it’s worth. Poor service, felt like they didn’t want to do 10 mins of work. Will not return. Devastated. Used to shop here all the time.

Bought a phone case ($11) for a S20 and a screen protector. Case does not fit my S20 and there was no screen protector in the box. Clerk said 'nope... store policy. We don't make the products we just sell them. They DO NOT stand behind ANYTHING! The package was labeled incorrectly and yet they will not refund or exchange!

This was my first time entering this store.A long time ago you could find the Dollar Store chain in every major plaza in Vernon. Now this is the only one left as Dollar Tree and Dollarama were too competitive.This has a much more organized and cleaner setup than its competitors. The sodas are twice as expensive as Dollar Tree and Dollarama, but they are really cold.I bought a notebook, pens, a deck of cards, and a soda for about $10.50.Some of the items seem pricey, but you will find good affordable deals on certain items in each section.

Great place for cheap shopping. For myself, I found a lot of interesting and necessary things for everyday life.

The owner amy was very rude when I asked a simple question on if they had a certain product.

We have been looking for a cheese slicer for quite some time now. Finally found one! Not the best quality, but hopefully work until we find a better one. This store is clean and organized but less on the dollar side and more on the more side. It is very pricey for a dollar store.

They always have good items for household stuff and decor things for around the house. I also have found lots of craft things that are way way cheaper then the average craft store, super clean inside and the staff where very helpful.
