Nola's Trendsetters

Nola has done all my piercings. She’s quick, and gives good advice on aftercare. I have 6 piercings so far, all which healed very well. I recommend her to anyone looking for a piercing.

Had my septum pierced over a month ago through my cartilage (way too far back onto the harder skin). Experienced excruciating pain during the piercing and she said nothing about it. You're supposed to have your septum piercing through the sweet spot"

I would advise proceeding with caution if you’re intent on getting a piercing here. I got my septum pierced here about a year and a half ago, and experienced excruciating pain during the piercing and nothing but complications during the healing process afterwards - I had to take the piercing out. I also received no aftercare advice for my piercing. I ended up going to a reputable piercer in St. John’s on a trip to get my septum redone (I had figured out at this point it was pierced wrong) and the experience was completely different - hardly any pain whatsoever and lots of good advice on taking care of my new piercing. When I look in the mirror I can see the hole where my septum had previously been pierced, and it had been pierced way too far back, not close to my “sweet spot”. I understand people make mistakes, but I wouldn’t be comfortable going back for another piercing, and thought it would be wise to share my experience so others could make their own decisions.

Awesome environment, staff , and great overall experience.

I made an appointment for a haircut at 2:00 and arrived 20 minutes early. I was told someone would be with me shortly but I was left waiting until 2:45 as the staff continued to take walk in customers for piercings and other services. When they finally got to my haircut the stylist was going to begin cutting my hair before I even told her how much I wanted off. When I got home I realized it was uneven and the haircut looked nothing like what I had requested. I Definitely won’t be going back.

Had my nose pierced here. Was a very negative experience that resulted needed it medically removed (from the type of jewelry they used, not anything on my end). Do your research before getting a pierced as they offer no knowledge to you.This is the first bad review I have ever left anywhere, but I felt it was necessary to avoid anyone else going through what I did.

Ive gotten many piercings here. Unfortunately my belly button was crooked. Never the best experience getting piercings here. I like the dog though

I've had 3 piercings by Nola, not sure which is my favorite.. She gave very clear instructions and lots of recommendations on how to take care of each, while there were people waiting outside. She's very likeable and great at her job, I'd trust her for any piercing. She knows how to calm you down too, and very quick:)
