Tri City Optometry - Coquitlam Center Mall Optometrists

Very easy booking system and availability. I needed to get my 5 year old's eyes checked and had no issues setting up an exam. There's lots of availability on the weekend as well!At the actual appointment the timing was excellent, there wasn't much wait time at all. The assistants were great with my daughter and Dr. Anson Wong was very friendly as well.It was my daughter's first experience getting her eyes checked and was very smooth. They also have a treasure chest with little toys for kids to pick out after which makes it a pleasant experience for them.We had a follow-up after our first appointment and I emailed the main contact email with some questions and received a prompt and detailed response.Heads up parents (if you didn't know already like myself), it's FREE to get your children's eyes checked until they are 18!The only thing I think they could improve is the fact I did the Covid questionnaire each time online soon after it was sent to me and I still received a phone call days later to ask me Covid questions. I think it's a flaw/gap in their system.Would definitely recommend coming here. Lots of availability, convenient, efficient and you can do stuff at the mall after if you want.

Second time going for routine check-up. Front desk staff and Dr. Anson Wong are polite and efficient. The reason for only 3 stars are:1. Both my partner thought that the cost breakdowns is not entirely clear, e.g. the Tri-City Optometry Questionnaire that was emailed before the appointment implies that in lieu of the the eye dilating drops, you can take an Opto test at $30 each. We learned later in the eye test with Dr. Wong that we both need the dilation drops (after taking the Opto test administered by the front-desk staff) because both our eyesight have higher prescription. If we had known that was the case, we would have not opted and pay extra $30 each for the Opto test. The information was misled us to pay for a service that is redundant.2. It would be helpful to know that dilating drops are required so that we can safely plan the time after the appointment. E.g. it was a very bright day, it would have been a safety hazard to drive with the after effects of a dilated pupil3. We did not see sanitization of the various eye-test machines. In particularly the Opto machine requires a large part of your face to touch the machine.4. There was not a clear explanation of why my partner's and my full eye exam" had a $50 difference besides that the doctor found more coverage for one person."

This is the best medical service and experience one can get. I cannot describe the professionalism, kindness, helpfulness and flexibility that this team provides. Each doctor and each staff, just go out of their way. Thorough and kind, doing and explaining everything possible. It is beyond words. Thank you.

Been going here ever since I've to Coquitlam. The staff are amazing here. Everyone is so nice, helpful, and professional! They explain the procedures thoroughly, so it makes the patient feel comfortable. All and all great job!

Everyone is very friendly. The diagnostic tech is was so kind and great with my kids. Overall amazing experience!

I met Dr. Kathy Wong recently . She was very helpful and arranged follow up appointment for me. Also, she referred me to have Opthalmology appointment at once.My follow up appointment was with Dr. Baradi who is very patient and considerate. She explained everything clearly and did a good job on the eye examination.
