Ruth's Chris Steak House
Went for dinner at Ruth's Chris. We ordered from their classic menu selection. Ordered the calamari as appetizer and it was amazing. Steak was delicious. Service was phenomenal. It is pricey.

Best steak you'll ever have. Served in sizzling hot butter, the striploin is tender and gloriously fatty. Yes it's expensive and yes it's worth it. Two ppl should share a 16oz with 2 sides and the crab cakes. The crab cakes are freaking great and loaded with crab meat. The honey bacon brussel sprouts are the best side. And last but not least is the free bread, which is warm, comforting and pure heaven with a smear of butter. This place is a great once a year splurge.

Tonight was our son’s high school graduation night. We celebrated with some friends at Ruth Chris. Our server Chris was exceptionally pleasant and really created a friendly and celebratory atmosphere.After a fairly long ceremony, we were all famished, and the freshly served bread and savory butter helped quench our immediate hunger. The graduation menu was fittingly perfect for the occasion. The appetizers were delicious and moreish. The lobster bisque was creamy and tasty. The meats were cooked to perfection, tender, juicy, and succulent! A heavenly taste to our palates.Final thanks to our server Chris, who helped to lock tonight’s wonderful memories in a series of framed, group photos. Thank you Ruth Chris!

I always have such a wonderful experience at Ruth’s Chris. Came here with my friend to have a dinner. Our server Paul gave us an exceptional service and all of the staff was fantastic. Sarah - one of the manager was super friendly and outgoing. We love talking to her. The food was excellent. We ordered Shrimp voodoo, which was tasty and flavorful and the steak was perfectly cooked to medium rare as we requested. Their chef Ibrahim even came out to say hi and gave us some advice about the steak. I have been here a few times and never disappoint. Their quality is alway consistent and definitely my go-to restaurant.

We came here as a party of 5 yesterday to celebrate a birthday. When we arrived, there was a couple ahead of us & while they were seated, we stood there for a bit without being acknowledged which I find is a bit unusual for a high end establishment.It was really nice being sat at a round table. Non-Asian restaurants don't use these enough but I love these as you can interact with everyone.I ordered the Ruth's Classic with a 6 ounce filet & 3 large shrimps. This is a prix fix menu and also comes with an appetizer (choice of salad or lobster bisque), a choice of one side (creamed spinach or garlic mashed potatoes) and cheesecake for dessert.I opted for the bisque & garlic mashed (my cousin got the creamed spinach so we shared). The bisque was not the best I've had & my sister in law did not enjoy it. Best part of my meal was the steak cooked to perfection at a true medium rare. My steak stayed hot/warm up until my last few bites since they serve it on a hot plate which I love. We also got their crab cakes to share. This appetizer is quite expensive yet it is full of crab & the crust is fried nicely, seasoned well and has a wonderful texture.A couple of things to note is that normally once the order is taken, the wine glasses from those who aren't having any are taken away however our server took it away when the one glass of wine was brought out & we weren't offered coffee or tea with our dessert until we were almost finished.Overall, it was a tasty meal & our server did a good job. I would definitely recommend this place for any celebration or a romantic dinner.

We celebrated my husband’s birthday at Ruth’s Chris today. The food was amazing, our steaks were perfectly cooked and the service was top shelf. A special thanks to our lovely server Nicole for a perfect evening and the best service! We’ll be back!

My first time going to Ruth Chris in Markham and I was not overly impressed. Was seated in a both for two, kinda in the hallway of the restaurant was a little weird. Our waiter was not overly attentive, had to ask another person for him twice. The 22.00 harvest salad was not fully dressed, wasn’t great. It was literally a hand full of greens with 2 cherry tomatoes cut in half and some crispy onions. Not worth it at all! The crab cakes were swimming in butter. In fact the whole restaurant smelt like burning butter. And It’s all you tasted with the crab cake. The 81.00 for 3 lamb chops that came with no side were under seasoned and chewy and the 22.00 potato au gratin was hard, under cooked, had no salt, wasn’t good. Sent it back and got mashed potatoes which again had no salt. Not impressed at all. Ruth Chris Markham, you need to do better.

First time visiting this location, previously went to the one downtown.Overall, I thought everything was great. Our server Luke was attentive but not overly so and made us feel welcome for my wife's birthday. The hostess was also very kind as we were running a bit late for the reservation.For some of the negative reviews here complaining about price, not entirely sure what the goal is there - you can spend an easy $300 here on food alone, but that's how much fine dining costs.Will definitely be back in the future.

We came here for a celebratory dinner. The ambience is gorgeous and exceptional service.For the price ($200pp), we didn't feel like the meal met our expectations. We had the Caesar salad to start and the crab cakes. We had filet mignon and lamb chops as well as the creamed spinach and mashed potatoes for our mains.All the food items were mostly good, but nothing blew us away. Our favourite item had to be the cheesecake dessert which was amazing.
