I discovered Chad's shop when I was desperately looking for help with my dying fish. Chad was very knowledgeable and caring and took very good care of my fish. He has a great knowledge of fish as well as reptiles, lizards and all sorts of other small animals.

This is the new cool aquarium shop in town. This guy knows all the fish and is glad to help you learn about them. Really great selection for a small shop and real passion from the owner about the hobby! Definately worth a visit!

This place is awesome. Great comfortable environment to browse and buy. Staff are super knowledgeable, great selection of fish, shrimp, etc for your aquarium, plants as well. And there prices are cheapest in town. And there fish are super healthy. I am definitely a return customer. Please go check it out you won’t be disappointed I promise.

I got some plants, and some different danios from here. Chad is really nice and informative. The fish that I got are super healthy and love their new home. The plants have already started growing also. This store doesn't have alot of stock yet, but is definitely going to do their best to get you what you need. Definitely recommend.

Hands down the best fish store in Nanaimo/mid island for quality livestock and plants. Chad does an amazing job caring for his fish, all of his tanks are clean and the fish are healthy. He's very knowledgeable and won't sell fish to someone without making sure they are prepared for the responsibility they're undertaking. I put in a special order with him and he was more than happy to comply. Even better, I found out almost all of his fish are bred in Canada! That's better than any other store I've heard of locally.He hasn't been open for that long so his store is somewhat small. I will admit he doesn't have a huge selection, but according to him, it's something he's working on increasing without sacrificing quality for quantity. He does have plants I've never seen anywhere else before (even online).He is also super responsive on Facebook, and can do deliveries if you're in the area after he closes for the day. Great service!

I couldn't find Siamese algae eaters anywhere .one quick chat with chad and he says to come in friday they are in. My tanks and plants are saved from black beard algae now. Im so happy to have a awesome fish store on this end of town. They have all the quality fish food you could use in abundance. Lots of accessories and good prices for nice looking driftwood . Im looking forward to getting some plants and more fish from here.
