Performance Pool & Spa

We live in St Cloud and used company when they were Pool Products but performance bought them out. Prices rose significantly. We called and ordered a pool closing. In past years we had them put our cover on but chose to do it ourselves because of pricing. Evidently call operator never put that on our account. When technician came he said price quoted included installing cover. We were charged additionally plus service time for 2 techs for additional time to put pegs in for $100 more. We will never use this company again and urge others to do the same.

Stopped in today (10 23) to look at purchasing a new hot tub. No prices listed on anything and when asked about a price the sales guy only wanted to talk about financing. I explained we don't need financing and just want to know pricing. He wouldn't give any price other then there pricing starts at 10k and goes up from there. Ok fine but still wouldn't give a price on a tub we were looking at, and wanted to talk financing. Please if your reading this don't waste your time in dealing with a company that can't even give an honest price.

I'm not sure that they even deserve the one star that I gave them. You would have to search a long time to find a company that is as deceptive and rude as these guys. I had 2 of their workers come out to re-work a part of my pump line-up to get my pool opened. I was told I would receive a heads-up call prior to them coming and performing any work. I did not receive any notice, so I was not ready when they showed up. They arrived and failed to even let me know they were working. I discovered them in my backyard by chance. They had replaced 2 hoses and app. 7-8 PVC fittings. When I tried to talk with them about the work, neither of the 2 would answer ANY questions. I believe that I got a total of about 3 words total out of them....these guys were beyond rude. They left without providing any feedback or invoice for what they had done. A week later, I received a charge on my debit card for well over $300.00. At that point, I realized why they had required my card information prior to providing any service...they could charge me before we could discuss any part of the service....the fix was in.Repeated calls to request information or details regarding the service and charges were useless. They allegedly have nobody that can answer the phone or discuss the situation. Every extension on the phone menu was unavailable and continues to be so. I feel like I have been robbed. They need to be investigated.

Bill in service was very responsive calling me back the next day. The service location was 60 miles away so I wanted to make sure they had the right parts. I sent photos of the problems and described them. Bill told me how to fix one problem myself and sent a service technician out for the others. Time from my first call on Friday to completion of the repair was 4 days including the weekend. Performance will be my go to" spa store from now on."

Seth & Ford are Always Super Friendly & Helpful whenever we bring in a Water Sample. They take us through step by step how to properly maintain our Salt Water Pool System. Nik was a Terrific Salesperson and helped guide us through this life changing purchase. Terry was second to none handling everything detail of the installation and ensuring it was done right. Justin has been there every step of the way for maintiaing our Service needs with opening and closing each year since our installation in May of 2017. Our family consulted 2 local competitors and they didn't come close to comparing for Service or Price. If you're looking we highly recommend PPS 100%!!!!!

I did appreciate they got our pool installed sooner than expected but beyond that, they have been really frustrating to work with. We paid them in full and it's been basically radio silence. We call, we email, we call some more. Once in a while, someone will answer and say they'll be out and then no response again. Once we paid them in full, they had a few minor things they needed to finish - it took weeks to get a response. The poolWas done in May and it's August now, we haven't had a working heater for going on 3 weeks. They said someone would be out two weeks ago. Their customer service is the worst. Maybe if they would just communicate why it's taking so long instead of never answering, is be more understanding.

Way over priced spa that has had 2 warranty issues in 18 months. First it leaked water, then a bearing went out in the main circulation pump. On the 2nd claim they charged $121.42 to my credit card, without my authorization, for the drive out. This was after they told me the problem was covered under warranty but failed to mention that after the first 12 months any warranty claims don't cover the $119+tax drive out charge. What a lame loop hole they leave for themselves. Over priced poor quality product, poor warranty, poor custom service with over priced chemicals and filters. Don't waist your money here.

First time customer, impressed by the great customer service from all. We worked with Ford on some fittings, hoses, chemicals and Dolphin robotic pool cleaner. We also purchased Ruby sand for our sand filter. Very knowledgeable and helpful. Will get my repeat business!

We recently purchased a 780 Chelsee spa from Jake. The minute we walked in the door he was informative on all our options, very prompt and professional. He helped ensure the delivery was taken care of within a week of our purchase. However, the excellent customer service didn't stop there; during set-up we had trouble determining what chemicals to use, so Jake took time out of his day to come show us how to properly get the spa started and what chemicals to start with. I would highly recommend Jake to anyone looking to purchase a spa; he did an amazing job from start to finish. This company will have our business as long as we get to work with Jake. If he ever leaves someone has some big shoes to fill. Thanks for everything Jake, you did an amazing job.

The younge boys that work there are idiots! I don’t always expect to get the exact part I need, but I do appreciate brainstorming when I need help. And they flat out will not think of any other solution ever. I will never come to this store again!
