March 28/2023 Canmore, The town has grownwildly to the point with not enough parking while shopping within down town area. The street layout reminds me of a maze like system. We were here during the spring break. I don't want to see what its like at its height in the summer months. That being said the 4 stars is for the scenery.

They have all the maps you'll need to find what you want! You can get all the best restaurant recommendations and a list of things to see and do while you're in the city for your preference and group. Enjoy Canmore!

Really friendly and welcoming tourist centre. The clerk was very knowledgeable about the various trails and advised regarding closures and avalanche warning. Plenty of free maps and resources regarding local Canmore points of interest and regional Rocky Mountains offerings.

A clean place to stop for a rest and washroom break. Friendly and knowledgeable staff can help with travel information. There is plenty of self-serve info, too. Nice displays. Outdoor playground and park are well maintained. This is a good place for kids.

This is a good place to poop. Easy to enter and exit off the highway. Clean washrooms.

Nice place, good parking, vending machine snacks available. But ladies' washroom was woefully overflowing with garbage and lack of maintenance. Had to go to the other building to report it as there is no one on duty in the washroom foyer.

Stopped at this information centre to use the washroom and park my vehicle so I could bike on the legacy trail. There is a picnic area , information centre , public washrooms . Very clean and nice .

Visitor center located right on the edge of Canmore. Wasn't too busy when I've gone and generally have gotten good service.Lots of flyers to grab with local info on stuff to do and places to eat.You can also buy the national park pass here for your visit.Just be mindful of what pass you buy. On our latest visit the lady that helped us just rung up a family pass when there were only 2 of us. Which is about 11 dollars more than 2 separate passes. She tried to talk me out of that saying the family pass is up to x amount of people in the same vehicle but we were only 2 so it didn't matter. She finally relented and sold me the 2 passes but didn't seem very happy about it.

Not bad at all, a bit understaff when we visited. Overall knowledgeable and friendly as one would expect in a visitor center. Rest room and free WiFi as well as water for RV and fountain for humans. Lots of brochures and good overall.

Staff is friendly and helpful. They helped us plan a day in and around Canmore and Kananaskis. They have the latest route/trail closure information. It is worth a stop to get maps, brochures and for an awesome view of three sisters peaks from the parking lot.
