Mabel's Fables Children's Bookstore
We had heard this place was adorable and worth the visit, but it surprised even us! The selection and atmosphere were great, and the proprietor, Mabel, was just the cutest cat! The reading room on the second floor alone was also worth the visit. This is a perfect example of what I imagine a book store to be.

Mabel's Fables Children's Bookstore
Mabel's Fables knocks it out of the park when it comes to an amazing in-store book selection for all ages, a curated monthly book subscription (pick up or mailed) and unparalleled customer service. I love the store as much as my son and I leverage him to go there as often as I can. If you want your children to fall in love with reading, Mabel's will win them over in a heart beat.

Mabel's Fables Children's Bookstore
Found this adorable books store about a year ago and fell in love with it- from the homely ambiance to the resident cat who greets you at the door it’s just so charming. I take my 10yo son there after school to get lost in the books. Great selection of kids books and very friendly and helpful staff.

Wonderful bookstore with the all the standards well as a lovely curated selection of special and unique books for all ages, young and old. I love spoiling my young children with books from this store. Mabel the cat is an excellent bookstore mascot! It really is a magical little corner of this city.

Mabel's Fables Children's Bookstore
Mabel's Fables is a cozy children's and teen bookstore with two floors of books, friendly, knowledgeable, helpful staff, resident cat Mabel, and so many great books and bookish things! They are one of my favourite bookstores. They give great book recommendations based on what you're looking for, often have children's and teen book launches and talks, have a wall of children's /YA author and illustrator signatures upstairs with some comfortable chairs to sit, and so have a lovely book program where you can buy a book for a child in need. They also ship books to customers. Recommended!

Mable's Fables is a wonderful shop with incredible staff! They helped me pick out books for my niece that she (and her parents) absolutely loved. The books were beautifully gift wrapped and shipped promptly. I will recommend it to anyone!
