We asked for input from Jane later into our kitchen remodel than would have been ideal, but despite this she was very helpful and met us where we were at with our project, clearly paid close attention to our preferences and goals and gave solid advice for some trickier elements with our space. We would definitely recommend working with her!

We want to do some renovations to our home and recently hired Jane for a preliminary consultation. She asked some key questions in the initial conversation (also we were able to supply some photos and a layout of the home) and she came prepared to the meeting with many ideas, even before we met. Jane spent about 2 hours walking through the home, discussing concepts, providing advice and demonstrating ideas using digital tools.Following the meeting, Jane provided designs for several areas of the home, along with furniture, cabinetry and fixture ideas. We loved that she gave us a mix of ideas - some of them simple, that can be implemented quickly with immediate results.Upgrading an older home can be an overwhelming task. We are pleased that we chose a design professional like Jane who listened to our needs and provided some realistic (and inspiring!) solutions. We will continue to call on Jane for other design services as we move into the implementation phase of the renovations.

Jane created two incredible plan options for our main floor renovation. It was amazing to see the layouts in 3D to visualize the finished rooms. She brought her space planning knowledge, collaborative approach, and amazing taste to the project and we are looking forward to implementing her design. Highly recommend!

Jane has helped us on a number of small projects. We installed pot lights into our kitchen and Jane was able to create a lighting plan that maximized the light and minimized the shadows.We also moved my elderly mother into our house. Jane was able to create a space plan for her bedroom that incorporated the majority of her furniture while allowing space for her to move around with her walker.I highly recommend Cottage Fever Design for any project - large or small.

Anyone trying to design or furnish a house recently understands how difficult it can be. Jane assisted us with furnishing and designing our dream condo in the Comox Valley. She hired and organized contractors while we were away, and had very transparent communication throughout the whole process. She did a great job, and I would not hesitate to hire her on a future project.
