Sandwiches aren't overly large, though they are tasty and fresh. We also enjoyed the nut bar. My lunch companion was moaning in delight.I wish it was possible to order for delivery, or have an express pickup area for customers who've placed a pickup order by phone.

First time here. Tried the turkey sandwich on the roasted pumpkin seed bun. It was fresh, tasted good, and had a nice crunch. I highly recommend giving it a try. I also tried some sweets (black & white cookie, jam buster donut, train track etc.) and pretzels which were also very good with homemade ingredients. This location is neat as you can see the bakers as they work through a window. I would go to this bakery again.

Today was my first visit here - I came here for lunch with two colleagues and we had a great experience! Excellent professional service, they had vegetarian options as well as meat, soup if you don’t eat bread, and delicious pastries. There’s not a huge selection but if you’re looking for simple, fresh ingredients and excellent quality bread, it’s the place for you! I didn’t have the coffee here but maybe next time will try it. But I bought some pastries to take home and they were a hit - super fresh, European-style, flavourful. Also, the place was bustling-busy and I bumped into two other people I knew!

Best bread in the city! The sandwiches are delicious, they have a large selection of dessert pastries, and the prices are reasonable. Coffee could be better.

This sit in bakery has something for everyone from The German breakfast consisting of crusty buns jam of choice cheese and deli meat to pastries and breads.. teas coffees soups sandwiches also available. Clean and friendly and despite busy you get through fast! Love love love their buns And Reasonably priced

I‘ve been a customer of this place for many years.I often talk with friends about their high quality of products that reminds us of the European bakeries back home.Today amongst other cakes and bread i bought a bee sting cake and when I looked at the tray I had the feeling that the two pieces in the corner weren’t part of the rest and not as fresh as the others.I kindly asked if the server could grab a different one and she assured me they were all the same.When I got home I realized it wasn’t. The top was very dry and tasteless and I’m very disappointed not only with the server that wasn’t honest with me but also with myself for not trusting my guts. Also, it’s not the first time this situation happened.One cannot charge the same price for something that isn’t fresh and lye to the customers.I hope you take this review into consideration.

It's been quite a long time since I last went to The Crusty Bun. Had soup and cheese bun. Both delicious. Upgrade your crusty bun for 50 cents...worth it.
