Excellent building. Stenellie, the assistant resident services manager, goes above and beyond for her renters. The building public areas are cleaned regularly. Whenever there were small maintenance things that needed to be completed it was attended to within the same day or the next day. Wonderful move in/move out experience. Highly recommend this building to anyone wanting to live in the Beltline at a reasonable price.

I can hardly wait until my lease is up. I am sick and tried of the homeless stealing my property, especially the secure “locked” bike room. My bike tires are missing along with a few other bike tires. Looks like the management company replaced the lock without alerting the tenants that there bikes have been vandalized. I feel that First Service should be paying my deductible seeing as you are required to show the management you have rental insurance. Also, clean the stained, smelly hallway carpets!!

We lived here almost two years and we loved here especially after the apartment management changed to First Service company!! Management is great, environment is great, and everything went very well!!!! Nice place to live.

Stenellie, the Assistant Building Services Manager, was WONDERFUL to work with. She is kind, efficient, and on top of things.She was always super responsive and was never rude when I approached her with some very explanatory questions that I simply didn't have time to figure out for myself due to an insane work life.Whenever something was wrong or went awry, Stenellie was on top of it.I really enjoyed her support and she made living at M17 a better experience. The new management company First Service is great! The service manager Stenellie and Corie are very helpful! The people live here are nice and the location is the best。

WORST RENTAL & RENTAL COMPANY EVER - this is by far the worst place I have ever lived - if I could give 0 stars I would! Do not expect anything for the price you are paying. The property management company never gets back to you if you have any issues or need repairs in your place. ... like truly never, even when it is an emergency. The units have zero sound proofing, no air flow (since the only window that opens in your whole place is the tiny one in your bedroom), and homeless people are always getting into the building due to a lack of security/proper locks. The carpet in hallways are always dirty from people's pets, the elevator is painfully slow, and the back courtyard space is never looked after. I wouldn't move back in even if they were paying me.

My girlfriend and I lived here for two years and I agree with all the reviews posted here.1. It's excruciatingly hot during the summer. Sure they have installed a central AC in the building, but only in the hallways so you if you want your place air conditioned, you will have to open your front door which takes away your privacy. You will encounter many people still doing this during the summer times because the heat is just unbearable.2. Related to the above - you only get one window that opens very little which cannot vent your unit properly.3. Related to the window - very hard to install a portable AC with the type of window in the units. you can try, but it won't be effective.3. thin walls, you can hear your neighbors all around you.4. underground parking gets broken into quite frequently due to the building's location around the many homeless shelters. My car got broken into once and it's your responsibility. Added bonus - you will sometimes encounter homeless sleeping in the stairs and the lobby (this is my personal experience).5. Slow elevator. very very very slow.6. There seems to be constructions around this area all the time?7. No storage space provided so obviously your place is gonna look messy all the time.8. Building Manager and move out inspection is very strict. They will do all they can to not give your damage deposit back. Please don't scratch anything because they will replace w/e you scratch, replace it and charge you because it's not aesthetically appealing to the next tenants. They don't understand the term wear and tear".Why did i stay here for two years? This is a pet friendly apartment

Terrible

Very poorly planned building. Each apartment only has one window able to open in the bedroom for the entire apartment and units do not have air conditioning. The units get extremely hot and uncomfortable in the summer. You could install a portable air conditioner, but the one opening window is also a casement (crank) window, making installation extremely difficult. The building seems nice at first, but you quickly learn that it was built cheaply without much thought to functionality. Lack of parking, very limited storage, painfully slow elevator....ugh!Beyond this, I find the staff at strategic very unhelpful and lack friendly service, like each and every one of them loathes their job. Do yourself a favour and DO NOT RENT FROM STRATEGIC!!!
