Jet Furnished Suites Yorkville

Booked through Booking.com in November for a stay at the end of April, things went smoothly ... and then COVID hit! I knew early on that the event I was attending was canceled so I followed Booking.com directions for cancelling the reservation. The response I got back included this message from the accommodation, The business is totally shut down and we don't have access to the office" which Booking.com took to mean can't cancel. While investigating where to go next

As part of our business in Toronto, we stay in Yorkville for several months. I booked with the owner Eddie to have a unit rented for long term stay through the summer. With the pandemic, travel has been impossible and had to cancel plans months ahead of time. Despite multiple emails and attempted phone calls, they have not reached back and has not refunded any money. Pandemic is hurting all travel/accommodation industry but you don't simply GHOST your customers after taking their money. The review shows other people had similar experience as well. I would avoid this place more than the pandemic. Dishonest businesses should not survive. Karma will get to you.

My wife and I just stayed at A Jet Furnished Suite in Yorkville.The location is unbeatable !! Very modern, nicely furnished suite with everything you need right in the unit. We were so comfortable there, that , a few evenings we just brought food in and enjoyed the facilities and the gorgeous view. From arrival to departure, everything was seamless. Beyond that, Eddie ( the owner) is the nicest, most accommodating guy to deal with. He and his wife are right there on the premises, and they go out of their way to make sure that everything is beyond satisfactory! After this experience, I wouldn't consider staying in a hotel in TO and will definitely be returning to stay here again. Kudos to Eddie and Judy!!

Had booked to stay here this coming week but due to the current situation had to cancel. Originally booked through Booking.comI put in a cancellation 6 weeks ago and subsequently tried phoning them to see where my refund was, impossible to contact them. I emailed several times and was told they were in talks with the Canadian Government about help they might receive to pay back money they had taken from customers. I spoke with Booking.com last week after trying to contact Jet with no success again, they thankfully took over and proceeded a claim for us. They weren't able to contact them either. I presume Booking.com have some kind of insurance when this happens. It does seem Jet have taken a lot of money and aren't refunding it. When we do eventually get to Toronto we certainly won't be staying here.

Beware!! Avoid this place!! The owners Judy and Eddie are bunch of crooks. Not refunding customer’s money after many months. Only reply I got after many emails and phone calls is that “we can’t refund your money because we don’t have business”. You are not the only ones suffering from this pandemic. Not refunding customer’s money is same as stealing.

Paid $2000 months in advance, but cancelled months in advance as well due to the pandemic. But after 1.5 years, still no refund, no reply or anything.

If you're staying in the Yorkville area, THIS is the place to stay. It's not a traditional hotel but that's what makes it awesome. I felt comfortable, secure and at home while staying here. You can walk everywhere and the people are all very friendly and helpful. You will need to order food or buy and store in the fridge and cupboards. They supply you with EVERYTHING in these suites. There is a washer/dryer and dishwasher, fridge and freezer. It's very clean and well put together. And the VIEW is incredible! All the furnishings are very modern and comfortable. The glass doors on the bedroom are a cool touch. I'll definitely be staying here when I come back to Toronto.
