Q Nails Tsawwassen Mills

Been here twice so far; first visit was good, not great, but the second set was done yesterday (pictured below), and I've never been happier. Not thick and cumbersome, beautifully shaped, just all around great. Done by Ellie.

EDIT: Honestly, didn’t think this place could get any worse but alas I was wrong. After the nightmare of a pedicure I had here, not four days later is it chipping and falling off. With it being summer I’ve worn nothing but open toe sandals and work in an office so there’s no reason for them to chip the way they have. I called Q nails back and booked an appointment to get them re done, however when I showed up for that appointment nobody was able to take me. I waited half an hour before I ended up leaving and asking for a refund. I was only offered $20 of the $60 I paid and I was offered in the form of a gift card. Ridiculous since I would obviously never be coming back. After explaining this to Tony all I was offered was $20 back to my VISA. Absolutely brutal.ORIGINAL REVIEW:Went with high hopes as I had a manicure done here years ago and it turned out well. This was not the case this time and I’m very disappointed. The lady who did my pedicure was late for the appointment I booked and spent the first half destroying my nails. By the end of my appointment almost all my nails were bleeding and I now have a considerable sized cut on my foot itself. I spoke up about how it hurt and how my nails were bleeding and nobody seemed worried. The polish also had marks in it before I even left the salon, and all the techs had walked away before I could mention it to anyone. Definitely not worth the $42 in my opinion. I’d much rather support other Tsawwassen Businesses.

Mediocre service. Horrible quality. Went in 9 days ago for shellac polish, 6 nails have started to lift and peel from the base. Called in and was repeatedly told We only guarantee 1 week for shellac". I've never had shellac polish come off this fast nor this smoothly before."

I have gone to this nail salon twice. The first time was decent. I can't remember the nail techs name but it was just for a quick manicure and I can appreciate the effort that she made in 'getting to know me'. The nails lasted a couple weeks which was good.My second visit the other day, I had a very sweet lady, she was chatty and mentioned that she was new. I wasn't sure if she meant new to the salon or new to being a nail tech. My guess would be nail tech. It took her almost 2 hours to do a pedicure and manicure. And I kept having to point out problem areas. There was polish around my nails by the end of it.It's been a week at the nail polish started to peel off. I went back and spoke with Annie. She said she would fix them for me which was nice, I have booked an apt for Saturday. Hopefully it goes well.

I’ve been here a couple times before and had a great experience. Good colour options, nice staff, decent ventilation, and nails that last.I booked an appointment for 6:45 for a party of 3 to get nails done. When we arrived the 2 nails techs had pretty much just started doing other clients nails. The gentleman who I booked the appointment with told us to choose our colour. After waiting around for 10 minutes it later came out that he would be the only person available to do our nails. Basically the appointment that I booked wasn’t going to be honoured. We made a trip to Tsawwassen mills just for the nails. 1 person to do 3 people’s nails?!?! I don’t think so. Very annoying and would have been easier to accept if accountability was taken and he apologized. If you want to do drop in then it’s a good spot to check out. If you’re booking an appointment either make it for the daytime or prepare to get shafted.

Went there with my gf as she wanted her nails done and as soon as we got in there we were met with multiple people asking what we wanted and when we told them we wanted acrylicsThey sat us down and the lady helping us had so much trouble figuring out what a checkerboard pattern was as she started she randomly got up grabbed her purse and never came back we sat there with half done nails for probably 15 minutes until another person finished up. The guy that helped us was really pushy trying to upsell my gf and that made her uncomfortable by how much he was trying to sell it to her and at the end the price was ridiculous and they didn’t quote us at the startNever coming back

I was a walk in customer on a sunday morning with my sister. We got 2 pedicures and I opted for a gel set of nails. Tony was my nail tech. I have never had such a positive experience at a nail salon before. Tony was professional, extremely kind and fun to talk to. His work is some of the best I've ever had and I want to highly recommend him to anyone coming in for nails. Wonderful experience!

I’ve had really great experiences here… it’s so nice to have manicures and pedicures done with attention and care. Other salons I’ve gone to have rushed me through. Shout out in particular to Kitty and Annie for their excellence.

I love Tony's work and creativity. Always come here to get my nails done. Love the color selection and quality. Seriously Tony is the only one touching my nails highly recommend
