Beautiful views. The river is warm and shallow at parts. Some sites are close together so make sure you google view it before :) clean washrooms! The park staff are always working. You can tell as it is immaculate. Friendly, happy faces from the staff. The fresh water tap takes FOREVER to fill a trailer. Ours is 22ft and took 20 minutes. And you have to hold down on the tap the entire time.

It's a great place for camping, floating or just spending the day. There some trails, one short one that follows the river to the campsite area. They have picnic tables and bbq pits, as well there is a sandy enough beach to play or relax on.

The park is an hour west of Edmonton on Highway 16. The town of Evansburg is a couple of km away for easy supply trips. There is a national campsite and a day use area for fun river activities like swimming, tubing, and finding cool rocks. There is fresh drinking water taps and a playground for young kids. Overall a great place. I've been back many times.

Almost every single site has great privacy! Lots of nice walking/biking paths to enjoy and a beach day area right on the river if the weather permits. And one of the best parts it's only an hour west of Edmonton!

About an hour only from Edmonton, depending on which part of the city you are coming from. We used the group campground, there is a clean washroom nearby where you can also take a bath for $1 for 2 or 3 minutes I guess. Sadly when we went, the water was extremely hot it will burn your skin. Somebody came the next day to fix it, but we have not tried it since. So I cannot tell whether it is actually fixed. The river is not that deep, so the kids would be fine wading in it or you can also go fishing in it. There are playgrounds too, and some good walking trails that even kids can do.Overall it was a good experience, and because it is not very far from Edmonton, we would surely be back.

Good place to have a picnic if you don’t plan going tubing. Water was warm and river is not egressive. So, safe for children to swim and spend time in water. If you can avoid the busy weekends the is ample parking available right next to the valley.

We stayed in the group camp area and it was beautiful! Cookhouses came in handy when it started to rain. Outhouses were wiped down daily and it was short walk to the river! Our water shoes definitely came in handy. Wish there were one or two power sites in the area though. Would have came in handy for the air mattress pump and for tubes.

Nice little campground close to town. I picked the upper half of c" section and found the sites on the bank side very slanted. Nice family campground
