Hertz Car Rental - Markham - Don Valley Lexus HLE

I was little late due to heavy traffic on 401. I have called Hertz at Don Valley Lexus. Vikram picked the call. I told him my situation he was so patient enough to listen me and he worried about my safety and was guiding me to drive slowly. He followed the rules of hertz and allowed me with extra time as defined by Hertz. He is so caring, respectful, good attitude and reachable. One should reach out to him definitely for any help. I wanted to really appreciate him but he said write it on whole team instead of him. His attitude surprised me!. He has qualities of Leader! Hertz should be proud of him!

So disappointed at the service at this location. We were 45 mins late returning the car and was charged the full hour and I called to let them know we were running late due to traffic and they still charged us a $50 dollar late fee. Never again sticking to enterprise.

busy. took a long time to get our car. Tried to sell us a half tank of gas for the price of 3 quarters full. Charged us a late fee even though we were not late. Car worked well and was clean.

To be honest I didn't like the customer service. They were not friendly at all. I was referred by a car dealership. They were supposed to give me a car while my own was in repair.

First time renting a car in Toronto. I met Mr Shah , the location manager , was very helpful. Highly recommended

Dishonest unprofessional, disappointing for such a large chain.Charged me extras, 4hrs before the return, said I was late in returning, even though I was 30 mins or so early. They apologized for the mistake ve their Montreal office, and said I would be copied into emails for refund. Never seen these emails.After several emails and complaints, they are now telling me the extra charge is because I returned it on low fuel….I filled up the car at a gas station 4 mins down the road before return. More amazingly is the staff knew I would be returning the car with ‘less fuel’ 3 hrs before I returned the car.Is this how Hertz conducts business at all their chains?

Terrible. Absolutely terrible. I made a reservation on CAA travel which comes with free additional driver as a perk. When i mentioned this to the clerk, he said “this is not CAA reservation” “i dont see it from my side”. After i show him the email confirmation from CAA travel he still denies and does not even make an effort to clarify whether it was a reservation through CAA or not. UPDATE: It seems it was a fault on CAA for not clarifying that Hertz (despite the reservation offered on their website) is not their partner and that they dont offer the perks.

We booked a minivan for our trip. Van is clean and problem free. It is quite new also. My son left his scarf in the minivan upon return of the vehicle, and the staff was very helpful and kept it aside for us to pick up a week later.
