The Sellution Quality Consignment - vintage furniture/furnishings

This store is awesome, and the staff is great. I moved to Vancouver in 1997 and bought my first piece of furniture from this store, as well as many others over the years. It really is the kind of store that has something for everyone, whatever style of decor you are looking for. The prices are extremely reasonable, which means that not only will you get a bargain if you find something that you want, but also that the merchandise turns over quickly, so it is a place to go to often if you are looking for something in particular. Given my experiences with Sellution over the years, I would also be 100% confident in them if I had something that I needed to consign, such as the table that now has no place in my home because of my newest Sellution purchase last week.

Love this little shop - you never know what you're going to find, other than that it will be fantastic! I contacted The Sellution to help sell some vintage and well-kept items of my grandmother's, when she decided to downsize. Throughout the process, the owner was a fantastic help and just made the experience easy from beginning to end. My grandmother got good prices for her items, and I can only imagine the buyers were happy with their finds. In my forays into the shop, I even bought a few items for myself - they had some really nice paintings and art pieces. All-in-all, it was really a nice experience and I just want to say thank you to the owner and the staff for maintaining such a cool little shop where you can find things you literally won't find anywhere else. Places like this are the heart and soul of Main Street!

I had such a pleasant experience at The Sellution largely because of Greg. I had some questions about a wood finish that I was trying to fix up and he was beyond helpful and went above and beyond to take a look at the item in order to help me find the best solution. He was so knowledgeable about the items in store as well and you can tell he is passionate about his work. Thank you Greg! We will be coming back for sure. :)

Great shop that sells quality vintage furniture but without overcharging like other antique" store. Love coming here for a browse here and there. I have been to all 3 locations they've moved to in last 5 years. Hopefully they can stay in this spot for good. Also love that I can bring my dog in here while I'm shopping."

Always come by looking for new things and although my style is more modern, there's a few items I really liked that I picked up. More so, staff is always so great, letting me peruse before asking to help me. I don't care for the pressure of sales people so its nice to just look and then ask when I'm ready.

Absolutely love this adorable little antique shop on Main! It’s a rare find these days. Such great prices too! We bought two beautiful lamps and these cute vintage nutcrackers from them. Such great quality! It’s so hard to find shops like this. Such a lucky find!

Purchased some barrel planters I saw on their Instagram page. It was easy to make an appointment for pick-up. The owner is very helpful. Reasonable prices.

The Sellution is a fun store to shop and browse, however, my favourite feature would be their wonderful staff. We’re an interracial queer couple and we were treated with respect and kindness just like anyone other customer. Being treated with good manners and respect was unfortunately not something we could take granted for in the past couple of years especially during the Covid pandemic. Whether in person or email communication, the owner and staff were really helpful and patient. One more thing I’d like to thank them for is that, just last week, I couldn’t drive 30 minutes there and back to pick up my consignment cheque due to some physical challenges and they offered to mail it to me without any hassles. I feel very grateful for business that have great people like them.
