Went in to deposit a cheque under my name into my account. Was told I can't do it in person because the amount is too large but if I use the app it's can be done. The logic behind it is beyond me. The app can do the same job a person at the branch can't.

Inexperienced staff. They give wrong information and refuse to process work.I called RBC customer service and they did everything I asked for and was way more helpful.

What can I say? Hector the manager is sweet. He doesn't like any criticism of the lesbianism in the area and that is sweet. I was going to ask him to blink twice to let me know if he was being held against his will. My criticism through channels seems to have disappeared. The ombudsman for RBC is a woman. An undocumented back room meeting with Hector where I was told This is how we do things now." Referring to "sharing" in a collective back room. I doubt the authorities of rbc would appreciate this new "sharing" approach to banking. Unexplained withdrawals using my bank card. I find women in the system are destructive and incompetent

When ordering a new card the teller cancelled the current one on the spot and then didn't even order a new one. She then proceeded to mess up when I came back to figure things out. First she ordered it to the wrong address, and then when she had the right one she once again failed to order it at all. The carelessness of the teller left me without a debit card for more than a month. Stay away from this location like the plague because the tellers have no idea what they're doing and are so unbelievably careless at their jobs

Staff is indeed friendly, but that doesn't change the fact they never answered back my calls (Did not even try to call me back). It's been literally more than two weeks since I've ordered to renew my credit card and I still haven't gotten it yet. Very dissapionted in the service they're providing and I'm honeslty considering switching to another bank.

I have been doing my banking at this branch for about 3 years and I have always found the staff to be helpful and polite. When I was recently having problems with my credit card, the teller went out of his way to help me. I have also received excellent advice when I recently renewed my GICs. Overall, I recommend this branch if you live in the downtown area.

My experience at this branch has been very pleasant. I’d like to particularly note excellent service from bank advisor Dibesh Baniya who aided me in sorting out questions I had regarding day-to-day banking.He is very knowledgeable and empathetic, which aided in making the interaction very positive. I highly recommend this branch.

Staff was friendly. Nevertheless, nobody spoke or even understood french, which is pretty mediocre considering it's location. They only have one financial advisor who do, so you can imagine how complicated it was to book an appointment. I genuinely don't understand how you can get hired to work at the bank (any bank, but especially in Ottawa) if you're not bilingual.
