Knights Inn Kamloops

Not impressed, they offer tiny kitchen with a couple of pots but no dishes. Missing foot on fridge so it's wonky. The cheapest toilet paper I have ever seen. Sheets that don't even cover the whole side of mattress. And you can hear all the water noises in the building.

I stayed there for 2 months. It was a typical room, not of a high quality. The fridge didn't work well. The hair dryer wasn't working, and it took 2 weeks for them to get a new one. I wasn't really satisfied with staff behavior tbh. If you need accommodation near TRU, it could be a good option, but there are better places for sure.

How is this place still open and charging rates comparable to legitimate hotels? Rooms quite dated. Mattresses visibly sagging. Met by a wall of cigarette smoke in our ‘non smoking’ room. Unhelpful staff openly upset at being bothered to help us into a room. Good luck to you should you decide to stay at Knights Kamloops

I was there the night before i started cancer treatment.There was no heat. They wouldn't allow me to switch to a room with working heat, and yes...they had many rooms open.The staff was incredibly rude. Yelled at me for reporting no heat and accused me of lying.The room was dirty including a used bandaid in the bedding. I was grateful I brought my own pillows and blankets.I was so cold I decided to sleep in my car at 5am. No offer to compensate in any way what so ever; no discount, anything.They have the worst motel and staff I've ever encountered. I will sleep in my car before I ever stay there again.

The deposit was not returned yet one week after checked-out!NO responds to the emails!!!When I check-in, I used my debit card to pay for the deposit. The staff told us that the deposit will be returned to my card after they checked the room when I check out. However, I found the deposit was not yet returned one weeks after we leave the hotel.I called to the hotel and was told that I have to revisit the hotel again to get back the deposit. The staffs helped us to check-in and check-out didn’t told us about that! Besides, who will expect a tourist to return to the hotel after their trip? It's non-sense!

What a dive! Pee stains on the toilet! So much grime in the fan grates. Room smelled like vomit. Beds worse than camp cots. Raging drunken hallway fight outside our room at 2:30 a.m. Do NOT stay here!

The price of hotels have gone ridiculous, so we took a chance on a middle of the road price and yikes, did we ever lose that bet! First off, if you have any mobility issues, this is NOT the place for you. We had booked a room in the first floor that is only accessible by two sets of stairs, so that was a bit of a surprise. The rooms, furniture and decor are stuck in the 70s and those were the most uncomfortable beds we have ever slept on. Beyond all that (which can be overlooked), the cherry that topped off our evening happened minutes after we checked in when we had knocking at our door, to which I was met with two very confused and somewhat high looking individuals trying to find their dealer who was paging them at that exact moment. I sent them away, of which they returned about 5 mins later, begging to see 'Louis', who they were sure was in my room. To which I slammed the door in their faces again.... apparently he was doing business in the room next door, of which that room had a balcony where he could watch his customers come and go from. Somehow they had gained access to the floor of which you needed a key card to get into. This made us feel very wary and unsafe about leaving our electronics in the room when we went to get dinner and caused us not to get much sleep on those horrible beds. We couldn't get out of there fast enough in the morning. Will never go back.

Nice hotel, close to shopping area. Room was clean, spacious and with a view over the valley. Nice breakfast included in the morning, also lactose free yoghurt for my wife.

I checked out this morning. Of the two queens, we didn't even use one bed and we were disappointed with the facilities that were so outdated that we were reluctant to use anything, so we didn't worry about the deposit. I heard the $100 deposit (credit card payment) is “automatically” canceled. Can you tell me exactly when it will be credited back to my account? There is no change even after hours of checking out.

Based on the recent reviews, I was pretty nervous about staying here. The check-in process went pretty smooth, as it should. We checked out the room and found it was surprisingly clean. The bed sheets had a few hairs in them which was borderline concerning, but then again, a washing machine doesn't always get out every hair. The bathroom was clean, although could use the caulking redone on the shower/tub. The shower head and the water handle were both loose. Lots of free parking, and no difficult registration like other hotels. Overall I have to say I am impressed for a 2 star motel.
