Simply put, this place is amazing. It certainly is a ramen place you go to, not for regular ramen, but for more interesting types. For reference I love bean sprouts and was in paradise eating one of their ramen which is quite literally filled with bean sprouts. The broth was filled with flavor, and best of all the chashu pork had a perfect char to it. This gave it a nice charcoal flavor underline. Definitely recommend.Edit: added photos(P.S show up early, the line gets quite long and you might not make it in.)

*This place is too popular, hard to get in at weekends, so we went for lunch on a weekday again. This time we tried Grilled cheese Mazemen and Kara Mapo ramens. They were super rich, super tasty. Grilled cheese Mazemen is dry noodle with strong and creamy cheese sauce, and comes with lots of greens and chunky pieces of delicious char siu. Kara Mapo is like ramen in Mapo tofu soup, the soup had lots of red pepper powder, spicy but addictive, couldn’t stop eating it, lots of bean sprouts in it too, loved it!*I don’t remember the name of the two ramen we ordered, they were unique and tasted so good. The noodle itself was different from other places, tasted freshly made, loved the texture. Broth was definitely on the heavier end, which I prefer. I love this place.

Came to Shiki Menya for a quick lunch. Arrived just a little before they opened so didn't have to wait for a spot to sit. Food came out quickly and the Ramen broth was super flavorful. As we were finishing our meal, more people started to arrive and form a line. Excellent Ramen Noodle spot in Calgary.

Hip vibe in a trendy neighborhood. This place is always buzzin. Bowls were great. Maybe the broth was a bit too salty.

Delicious as always - luckily my friends from out of town arrived earlier to get in line- as it was crazy busy on Saturday. I would recommend perhaps having the music turned down in the restaurant as it was crazy noisy- couldn’t have a conversation without having to yell.

I love this ramen spot in Calgary. It’s a cool looking spot with an open kitchen. The broth is amazing and the noodles are cooked perfectly. One of the restaurants I always try to hit up when I come down from Edmonton!

Loved the food and the atmosphere. Music was great. It's so popular, be prepared to come a bit early so you can wait on the lineup. They do close early, too.

Best ramen in Calgary!!!! The business hours are pretty off and you gotta make plan to come here. Overall it’s totally worth it!!

Extremely rich in flavor and portions are big! Second time visiting we had the ma po tofu and cheese ramens. Would recommend going on a weekday if you don't want to wait in line. If you do have to wait in line, totally wotlrth it.
