Not impressed with reviews I see on here regarding people you employ & drive your company vehicles representing your company. I think from the sounds of your reviews regarding your drivers, you need to give them a drivers ed course from Young Drivers. Horrible représentation of your company! Look into it.

Terrible company. It has been 4 months and we're still waiting on them to remove construction materials from our site. DO NOT USE!

I wrote an review yesterday about Powerline Plus leaving used latex gloves in front of my home yesterday beside the portable toilet.Unfortunately I can’t seem to edit my review. So I am using alternate google account.First thing this morning they cleaned the area. Called me to apologize and left me an officialll apology letter.The Responsiveness to the concern was unparalleled. And the telephone call and apology was sincere.In my opinion, Powerline Plus is a model corporation doing work for the City of Toronto!

If the driver of one of this company's work truck, license plate 724 0XX, is its typical employee, then you should avoid doing business with it, PERIOD. He showed total lack of road safety awareness, was cutting people off on Birchmount Road south of Steeles Ave East at 4pm on July 12.

I can see this company is working hard and doing everything possible to become even better. I know first hand they have changed management in work shop only couple months ago and already improvements are showing.I could see a great future with very good and professional customer service in near future!

If your a business planning on using them to contract I highly recommend you reconsider as they will give you a bad reputation and possibly lose your business contract with the carelessness and arrogance of the employees and the unprofessionalism.My car was parked on the street infront of my home on dufferin street and the crew with the truck number 879 were working right infront of my car and got it so dirty from rocks and mud flying everywhere and chips from little pieces or rock everywhere I walked up because I was planning on moving it but after realizing what they had done I was very upset ... the crew leader was very arrogant and rude and told me that usually they have a cop that notifies people to move their car but they didn't have one and had to do their job without concern about my car.. he than began to say that I don't even take care of my vehicle because of brake dust on my rims ... he then instructed his crew to clean my car very poorly with barely any water and dirty wipes that I had to take it to a car wash to properly get the job done .. I am extremely offended by the whole scenario and am currently trying to contact the company.

I do not recommend working here in the short time employed here I seen many employees come and go. The office have minimal diversity and there civil/cable side has literally 5 minorities 1asian 1indian 2persian 1black. This is not the place if your looking for something long term. When you start there gonna sell you on the fact you can grow there and move into there union which may happen if your ready to bend over or get on your knees. There is a culture here you will see with in a week of being here.

These guys have been outside my house upgrading the electricity in my area every spring, summer, and fall for 2 years now. I don't mind the noise but what I do mind is when they decide to disconnect the home phone, internet, and tv cable from my house WITHOUT any warning whatsoever and every time it's on a Friday...why Friday!?!?!They also don't bother to reconnect my services after they've disconnected it! Every time I have to call my provider to come fix it. On the days they decide to disconnect it on a Friday, I have to wait until Monday for a fix! I work home some days of the week so this is very disruptive and coming home from work on Friday to realize I'll have no internet for the weekend is a terrible feeling.Again, I understand construction takes time, makes noise, and is inconvenient. But give us some warning before you decide to unplug our internet, home phone, and tv so we can plan accordingly. At least have the courtesy to fix what you unplugged and not leave it to the homeowners to clean up after your mess.

Once you understand that power lines need to be covered if you are working close to them and Powerline Utilities (PU) must do the covering then you will accept that PU will be in charge. The process was actually painless except for the cost but once you factor in the equipment and expertise involved and the fact that you are dealing with amperage that kill instantly you will leave the dangerous work to them. The office was very helpful and made the process of getting the coverage underway quicker than expected so I was pleasantly surprised. Also, when you have done it once the next time will be easier.
