Chalet Continental Motel

I very much enjoyed my stay.. I was in a kitchenette suit. The room was clean upon my arrival inspection. This hotel is upgrading all the furniture to give this hotel a more modern look. The owners and staff are very nice. The snow was cleared from the lot promptly. My room was also equipped with a Keirug and a Coffee pot. The kitchenette was well equipped either everything you need in a basic kitchen.I was very pleased with my stay here and would definitely recommend this hotel to family and friends.

For the price, the room was not worth it at all. It was quite unclean (we could easily spot several places with dust on it, the shower knob had this weird sticky substance, the towels smelled). Given the lack of cleanliness it seemed no Covid protocols were taken in the room as well. The owner told us he is short on staff and his family has to look over everything themselves, which can explain the uncleanliness. The furniture was old, and there is no elevator. The only good thing for the $160 we paid was the view of the balcony- facing the mountains.

I stayed here for just over a week and the rooms are completely renovated and beautiful! Extremely clean bathrooms! Big tv! Super comfy beds! The best staff!! And the owners dog is like a local celebrity! All around amazing hotel and experience!!

The service my wife and I received was incredible; flexible for our room choice, kind in offering us cold water, and swift in delivering a crib to us for our toddler when we arrived. On top of this the location is very nice, I would recommend a stay here to anyone passing through Valemount. And thank you to the owners for greeting us with smiles and positivity after a long day on the road, it made a world of difference.

Not new by any means but clean and smells clean.... Not like chemicals to cover up things... I like it and will stay again.

Returning from the west coast to Alberta on a solo bike trip the end of June 2023. Left near Vancouver in the morning and checked availability plus prices on-line and thought I booked a room for 1 night. Through a series of events and a rain storm I rolled into Valemont about 7pm local time, out if fuel, soaked and came to realize I did not have a booking. 4 hotels with no vacancy and over double my original price left me with no options. Talked to the incredible folks at this Chalet and got their last Suite at a discount. Next morning tried to leave a tip and eneded up with a mini lunch that overfill my saddlebags. A little dated but lots of renovations done plus ongoing. Fantastic people.

Good place for the area and the money we paid. The room was clean and had everything we needed. Comfortable bed, private full bathroom, balcony, flatscreen TV with cable, hair drier, a fridge with freezer as well as a mini fridge, microwave, coffee maker, dishes and cookware. Very kind people at the reception.

Stayed in 118, 218 & 204. All great rooms with fantastic office spaces & tubs. Definitely doing some renovations to bring it up to date but other than that it's a great stay.

Clean and comfortable. No onsite facilities to speak of. Filled with work crews. Btw Rogers/Fido has no service in Valemount but the owner said they would place a call if needed. Really Rogers.. in 2022…? cheap,cheap, cheap

Nicest, most helpful owners I've ever experienced. Really nice modern rooms with lots of space and kitchenettes (mine didn't have a stovetop yet but a dual electric hotplate was provided, which is great). Again, the staff here are the absolute best and are really friendly.
