This Bank branch is a clown show. Branch manager nevers return calls, why are you there?? First time I cashed work check no problem. Second and third time was a hold. Everyone there needs retraining.

If I could give zero stars I would.If you want to bank with people that seem to have no regard for human need of food, to pay bills, and rent go to this location. I have two jobs and both are cheque based companies. Scotiabank has a hold policy where you have to spend more money with them in order to not have holds on cheques. I have missed countless bills, been late on rent and have gone hungry many nights because of this God forsaken bank. I work my butt of so I do not have to worry about money, and yet I still go hungry.I am depressed thanks to you Scotiabank, Thank You.

Poor service. One branch doesn't want to hold the cheque , This branch is saying they are holdong the cheque for no reason. Nobody was helpful. Don't deal with them. Such a frustrating experience. Branch Manager refused to give draft from my own business account. Reason she gave to me is she can not verify me. Silly people.

Scotiabank has defaulted existing customers to unethical overdraft protection fees.Without seeking direct written or verbal consent they switched customers with existing overdraft protection and established overdraft funds (which could be accessed at maximum of $5/month fee, when used) to a $5 per/transaction penalty.In effect, this places undue pressure on overdraft users to sign on to a $5 per/month flat fee that is charged whether you use it in a given month or not.You must opt out of being defaulted out of a fee-for-as-needed-service into a non-consensual penalty scheme. This is not fair dealings.In other words, if you only take the time to track whether you are meeting your obligations to your bank you need to budget your time to ensure you can track whether your bank is meeting their ethical obligations to you.This branch's response to concerns regarding this practice was underwhelming.

LITERALLY USELESSI do not understand why your ATMs are so bad. First of all, you cannot access the indoor ones outside of business hours, and the outside ATM is useless because you can’t withdraw or deposit money more than 90% of the time I’ve tried to use it. Absolute joke. That is literally the point of an ATM.Secondly, your ATMs are so bad, the touchscreen is some thing from the 1990s. It’s just so awful.

This is the most useless bank I have ever been to in my life. Do not ever go here! Completely incompetent staff.

Beware, the hours on this listing are NOT up to date! Closes earlier and opens later - call the branch to confirm before going.Otherwise great bank, no complaints except the nine-foot animatronic dinosaur might be a bit scary for kids. It wouldn’t hurt to try making Dino’s facial expressions look less menacing, maybe add some cool aviator shades? Just a suggestion!
