The windows were late which was acceptable, however the communication about the delivery and installation date changing was lacking and resulted in wasting time being booked off work.The installation person removed our old windows only to discover that the new windows did not fit! Actually, the new windows fit the outside measurements but they were not functional and could not open because of the sill. The installer had to drop down our window sills and then build up the sides and bottom with pieces of wood. It looks terrible on the inside. One window came to us with peeling paint! Seriously? Jim’s solution was to provide us with a small bottle of touch up paint.Windows that were late, didn’t fit and were peeling was bad enough. The worst part was the customer service. All I can say was that I have NEVER been treated like that by anyone in a service industry. He told me that our house was old and what did I expect? He raised his voice at me. He sent condescending emails and talked about how upsetting it was that he could not use our London house as a reference. He told me that he had one other customer just like us.This horrible experience was over two years ago but needed to be shared. I should note that the windows don’t really work in our space as they need lots of room to open and two open the wrong way into the room and not the way we had ordered them.

Hired this company to install windows in the summer of 2021. By the winter of 2021 I had no response regarding when the windows would be ready or installed after multiple email attempts. The owner finally emailed me and cited personal reasons for his poor service and said he had not ordered the windows. After months of back and forth, the owner would not return the deposit or provide the windows for us to install ourselves (as I suspect he did not have them). DO NOT trust this business. Check out the BBB. This company is not reliable, honest, or transparent. (posted twice as this business is listed under slightly different names)

The new burgundy or CPR maroon door and transom window above were installed last week along with four casement windows (kitchen, guest bedroom, downstairs bedroom and living room window mounted above furniture). The installing crew worked like beavers and were obviously very good at what they did; we appreciated their asking questions when they needed decisions about orientation of windows and the like. All this work was done in one day which amazed us. Next year we will hire 'Big Jim' to replace the last piece of glass, namely our ridiculously heavy and inefficient sliding glass door which provides access to our deck. Green Window & Door has now replaced all the windows and the front entrance in our house here in Stratford. We have no hesitation in recommending G W & D. The price was most definitely worth it - impressive quality!

We got a new door installed at home, the door looked so amazing when I came home and saw it!!! Very impressed with the work!!!!

Our home was built in 1903 and up until 2015 had the original windows with aluminum storms. We replaced all the windows and doors what a difference these windows made. The cool in the summer and warmth in the winter. That was just one of many things we noticed with the new windows. No outside noise and the big one was no more diesel fumes entering our home whenever the neighbour started his truck to leave for work in the winter. Also we had the old windows taken completely out back to the original studs and the new ones put therefore not losing any window opening size which was an important issue for us. The workmanship was excellent and installation crew did great work with the inside trim. Cleanup was very professional.

The window came in the wrong exterior color. The latch was broke at install time. No one came to look at it even after some exchanged emails. I had to fix it myself. Premium price for total disappointment. One unhappy customer.

We find out the house warmer after replaced all the windows. The window are in good quality. It also include new flames which are special additions on it. Peoples who deal with are friendly. Highly recommended.
