This is both a really great meal and a fantastic experience. The entire grounds is a wonderful blend of French culture, French cuisine, and the history of Quebec. The meal is extraordinary. The pea soup is delicious and everything else just takes off from that point. A generous helping of maple syrup on everything elevates it to a practically ethereal level.The music that accompanies the meal is enjoyable and the servers are animated and lots and lots of activities. Heck, there are even pony rides.

I visited here in early April during maple tapping season as a chaperone for a school field trip. The manager did a great job explaining the history of the maple syrup/sugar industry from the time of the first peoples through the modern day. They have a nice sized gift shop, and all prices included taxes, which was convenient.We also stayed for dinner, which included yellow pea soup with maple syrup (yum!), maple sausage, crepes with maple syrup, egg souffle, and toast. It was very filling! The only problem was that they didn't have any gluten-free options for my daughter. Thankfully, I brought a separate meal for her. The staff allowed me to use a separate sink and microwave to prepare her meal - which was great.After dinner, we enjoyed live music, dancing, and games. To top off the night, we went outside and the staff poured hot maple taffy onto a bed of snow. The kids were given a wooden popsicle stick, and they each rolled up the cooled taffy onto the sticks before eating it. All in all, it was a great visit!

Went part of a school trip, we had the food and taffy on snow at the end. Had a fire going with benches the kids really enjoyed it!

Food is good, ambiance is fine, but they sit different families together and have them share dishes (passing the plates around, etc). This isn’t good as you now have to think about another larger or smaller family, making sure there’s enough food to go around. Orders for second serving weren’t too well received either. A cost saving strategy for them that created a less than optimal experience for all! Also, at this price, I don’t wish to share plates with non-family for hygiene reasons. I won’t be going back if they don’t change their policy.

We really enjoyed our visit here. We are poor planners so did not reserve for lunch but when we called in to see if they were open, they told us that we could come in for La Tier, and so we did! The host was super kind and we really enjoyed our time! La Tier was something my wife and I have always wanted to try, and to get to do this with the kids was something on our wishlist of things to do while in Quebec. This experience was made very memorable, and we really enjoyed our time at Erabliere du Lac-Beauport!

If you want to get a great feel for Quebec's amazing food, music and maple syrup this is the place to visit. The traditional meal was simple but phenomenal. The singing and dancing was so much fun for us and the children. And the maple syrup was delicious. MAPLE BUTTER.....if you have never tried it get it. It is so amazing.

Nice food. Very traditional Quebecois food. Enough choice not to be left hungry if you are needing to be gluten free. Animated, fun, nice gift shop and very interesting historic exhibits showing sugar shacks and the process and history of maple syrup. A must to visit if you are touring the area. Nice little museum of hunting and trapping with wonderful animal exhibits.

We had a wonderful time dining in. There was a large school trip of students, but it made the moment more special with the hustle and bustle of the crowd and they showed us how to enjoy the Maple Syrup frozen lollipops and the local cuisine. We had so much fun here and highly recommend.
