Optiks International - Kamloops - Victoria Street

Went in for an eye exam and Dr Vroom was friendly, fast, and efficient. My eye exam took less than 20 minutes and she has a modern set up with the latest technology. I honestly don't know how my experience could have been better!

I spoke with Megan (I believe) on the phone to book my appointment. She was so cheerful and friendly. On the day of my appointment, I called the morning of to see if there were any earlier spots/ cancelations as I had an appointment for 2:15pm. They had a cancelation that morning and told me I could come in at that time instead. I was a few minutes late but they still welcomed me in and were able to complete the exam on time. They're all so very kind. Dr. Vroom is very good at her job and was able to answer all my questions. She has such a nice, approachable demeanor and much like the staff, she is also very friendly. I would highly recommend this place and I will definitely be back. Thank you to the whole team!!

Just really great people. Dr. Vroom is so lovely and her demeanour with my kids is amazing. She’s so kind and patient. All the staff here are fantastic. We live in Princeton and make the drive to Kamloops because the care we receive here is worth it!!! She’s not going to sell you glasses unless you NEED them. I trust Dr. Vroom with my family’s eyes.

Very poor and cheap quality frames. I bought glasses like 2 months ago and they are already getting loose. I went to their store they did nothing. I won’t deal with these people anymore. My brother had the same issue. He asked to fix his glasses, for 2 weeks he never received any call from them. He called the store and they said they were fixed like a week ago. Also, they will try to stick their stupid insurance, don’t accept it unless you really want it.Overall my whole family had a very bad experience with Optik International. Don’t waste your money at their store find another one.

I have always received efficient and friendly service. Roxy assisted me in selecting new frames with great comfort levels and sound recommendations. Another time in I received great service from their new colleague Angie as she effectively worked through applying discounts and the right prescription for my order. Robyn also offered assistance and expertise measuring my glasses and was luckily receptive to my end of the day good natured banter:)

We literally just happened to walk by and thought, why not get my glasses straightened- which I had bought elsewhere. We got first class service at no charge. As a result of their kindness, my dad's prescription was also redone and the end result? New glasses were not necessary, just needed a small adjustment. My mom ended up getting a summer deal and got two pairs of glasses, progressive views and all the rest for a very affordable price and quite stylish for 77 years old! Rino and his team are honest, efficient, qualified and quick. They stayed with us right until 5.30 on a Friday and we were never made to feel like a bother; instead like old friends coming for a visit. We will for sure go back. It's nice to find a good place you can count on.

Great place to get your glasses and contact lenses. I've always come here since I moved to Kamloops 7 years ago. Someone went above and beyond during my last visit (and thinking outside the box!) and I really appreciated it. They quality of their lenses is very similar to the more expensive ones at other places and when they are on sale, they are probably the best price in town. They now have an optometrist on site as well, which adds more convenience!

My husband Wally Rogers visited the store on Victoria St. Kamloops today (July 20th) and received super service, excellent repairs. The staff was also very friendly !We both highly recommend this business.
