TD Canada Trust Branch and ATM

My debit card was deactivated after one pin input error (just one). Not having access to my bank account ruined all that I had planned that day.After an hour on the phone with support, found out that I had to go down to a physical location. Did that, but bank teller (and manager) refused to re-enable my debit card because my license, which they wanted to see for identification purposes, had JUST expired (which ironically wasn't renewed at the time because my debit card was deactivated, as above, and I couldn't pay). I had various pieces of identification, and two had photo identification, along with my TD debit card, which altogether easily proved my identity several times over, but they wouldn't unlock my card because you know, policy". Absolutely horrible bank to deal with. Went to get a personal loan for a car and after about 2 weeks I got a call back saying I got approved. They typed up the paper work wrong twice and had to re-sign which was kind of inconvenient.Fast forward a bit, its been 3 weeks past the date that the loan was supposed to enter my account and it was still not in. Tried contacting the bank multiple times and eventually they told me it got sent back to a credit analyst and I got declined. Not even upset that I got declined but the fact that I got told I was approved and had already put a deposit down on a vehicle after receiving the initial news.I asked why this happened and the representative accidently put my co-signers income as weekly instead of monthly. Just so many mistakes and such sloppy work. Made the entire situation horrible and they are very difficult to get a hold of. DO NOT RECOMMEND.

TD employees have always been so helpful to me. I truly wish them the very best.

One of the worst places I have ever been. I had an appointment with financial advisor. She never looked at me. I talked to describe the situation she interrupted and she said better try a Credit Union and she said I even got my mortgage from a Credit Union. I have never seen such things for a bank. When I was talking she was looking through the window. I wish I could give a zero star

This branch needs more “Kristin’s”. The front line staff is empathetic and try their best but beyond that there is a lot to be desired. Kristen cared and tried to connect to make things move forward but the bridge between “old” technology, big bank ways, account updates and loss of information in between, is left on the customer to prove and not the bank,. Left to feel like a shyster versus valued. Unfortunate. No “pre” digital records (2004). Shame. Any business that values customer would have scanned and had records available for reference Point of interest,,,, major banks no longer hire full time front line staff to keep shareholders happy, Shame!!!! They expect loyalty and demoralize by providing less than what one can live on for the sake of shareholder dividends. Shocked that this has not been addressed. Monopoly??? All of the major banks do not hire full time frontline staff.

Me and my wife went few days back in the branch for a statement. The gentleman in the counter told us to get the printouts of the statement then he will stamp on it. He can't print it. So we had to go back again few days later and I saw a lady in the counter. I told her we need statements she said okay need 2 miniutes, you need to login to your online account and I will print it out for you!! I have no idea why that gentleman gave us such hassle for a simple reason! Had to spent around $40 as Uber fare on top of that :(

One of the worst TD branch to deal with in the city. Both from staff turnover perspective and the service. Absolutely condescending behaviour. Already planning on being done with this bank. Been with them since highschool and never once had decent service. 24+ Years and service is not improved. But banking fees have gone up considerably. Wanted to upgrade my credit card from student cash back to aeroplan credit card and they said cannot happen, have to have a specific type of banking account aka more higher fees for something I won't use. Already found a new bank I'll be going with.
