Went to this branch to pay a family member's Visa bill since they were out of town. I had the statement with me and informed the teller I was paying it for someone else. She said that she had to charge me a fee because I was paying it for someone else. I said that wasn't fair, so she got her manager. The manager came and told me something similar, asked for my ID, and proceeded to fiddle around on the computer for a bit. She (the manager) then asked, you don't have any accounts with us?"

Most useless branch in markham. Dont even have an employee in branch on a Saturday to unlock your locked debit card after you confirm all transactions in person... they told us 45 mins to an hour wait. Drive right by them and go to another branch.

Worst service I've ever encountered in my life. I went to the branch today 12/29 to drop off 4 deposit bags due to the interruption of pickup service from Brinks. However, the manager on duty refused to accept the deposits because she insisted that the original copy of the deposit slips was not in the bag. Our company has been using the same deposit methods for the last 7 years and we never have an issue. Sometimes due to holidays, we have dropped off our deposits at other branches and we never have an issue.But this manager insisted it's their branch's policy. When I asked her so how did RBC processed our deposits with the same deposit slips in the bag when it was picked up by Brinks, she said she doesn't know how Brinks did it. I told her Brinks is just an armored pickup service. They do not open our deposit bags. Only RBC Bank do that. She could not give me an answer, and simply just brushed me off that I do need to bring in the original copy of the deposit slip for them to scan.Frustrated at the ignorance of this branch, I went to the branch at Steeles & Silver Star Blvd, and they processed my deposits within 10mins.The biggest difference between these 2 branches is one who are stuck in policies and procedures and don't think outside the box, and another who would think of a way to make a client experiences enjoyable. I highly do not recommend anyone to visit the branch, unless you don't have a choice.

I have been using RBC for 15+ years and I barely have any bad customer services like I have at this branch. Don't waste your time to do transaction with this location. ❌NO❌

I went to deposit a bank draft to a lawyer trust account for my friend as they are travelling. But rbc refused to do so. They ask for my id even this transaction is not related to me. I have never had this issue with td and bmo. Will never recommend rbc. I also have to wait for line 5 mins yet there are 4 csr only one is servicing customer. The other 3 all with their head down.

The worst service in this location. I waited for the line. The staff (Indian)ignored me. She wants to service the customers(Indian) behind me. I asked her why. She said I need the translator. I didn’t say anything when I stand there. How did she know I don’t speak English? I think she is racist. I feel so bad. Don’t recommend to come this location.

The worst customer service I have ever seen. Racial profiling is another thing to worry about, if you are a muslim visiting this branch. Staying away from this branch might be your best bet unless you want to be treated with disrespect. The main person that should be responsible for this type of behaviour is the new manager they recently got.

This branch and the manager have no sense of discretion about their policies. I couldn't deposit a cheque because of a slight spelling mistake in my name. My name is quite unique in itself, even if one letter was off it wouldn't be mistaken for another person. Too bad these people were not willing to acknowledge that fact.

Do not bother banking with this branch! You will feel no sense of customer service here. Not only you have to deal with extremely rude and racist staff here, you will also be facing lies and empty promises from them. Be warned, avoid someone called PAULA at all cost, she is extremely racist, inefficient and tends to give away empty promises that will never materialize. It took her almost 2 HOURS to open up a business account comparing to hassle-free 10 mins in a competitor bank on the other side of the plaza. Out of my so many years of experience of banking with various banks, she is among the worst.The entire branch is a joke, no greetings when you go inside. You can barely even find anyone in the first place. They are just a group of morons literally giving away years of reputation of the bank.Gladly I made the right choice of closing all my accounts here and moved over to the other one in the neighbourhood. Bye bye, will never bank here!
