I needed a wall to wall carpet for my bedroom and was recommended by my daughter to go to Carpette Muti Design.On entering the showroom with my wife, we were warmly greeted by Mr. Lorne Blumer who was extremely helpful and gave us some good advice as well. He showed us many carpet samples and only sold us what we needed.Delivery and installation was very professional, clean and well done and we are very happy with the results. The prices are also reasonable.A big recommendation from me to this company.

Nous avons fait affaire avec Carpette Multi-Design pour une partie de notre projet de rénovations. 2200 pi2 de plancher en plus d'un escalier. Dans ce domaine les entreprises sont parfois plus intéressées par leurs marges que leur réputation. Le service après vente que nous avons reçu est exceptionnel de la part de CMD. Ils n'ont jamais hésité à remplacer un étage au complet de plancher. Je referai affaire avec eux sans hésitation.

Well deserved 5 stars.Excellent service. We have dealt with over a dozen suppliers in renovating our entire home and dealing with Sylvain from CM-D was by far our favorite. He's knowledgeable and passionate about flooring and a real pleasure to work with.The choices are vast and the prices are competitive. Go have a look before commiting somewhere else- it's worth the visit. He was also always available to answer any concern we had. Great customer service experience and great products!

We purchased a townhouse and had Carpette Multi Design remove carpeting on our floors and install engineered hardwood floors. They know that we have a young infant.We informed them that we were going to be away and requested for the furniture to be moved away from the floors were the renovations were to be done. We agreed on paying extra for this.We discovered days into the renovation that not only were the furniture not moved to a different floor, but that there was no dust protective measures whatsoever. Not only that, they were cutting wood inside the house, which means that wood shavings are everywhere. It is standard procedure for any competent contractor to minimize and contain dust and debris -- which includes of covering furniture that could trap dust, sealing off floors with plastic barrier -- so we were surprised that this was not the case for our project.There was enough dust to set off the fire alarms, so I can only imagine how much dust has settled into our furniture.While we are able to clean some of the furniture by wiping them down, the couches and armchairs were extremely difficult to clean. We purchased them from the previous owners but ended up throwing them away as they were hopelessly filthy. The fact that dust was not contained on the floors means that there was plenty of dust particles around the house that are not only toxic, but are small enough to penetrate deep into the lungs and enter the bloodstream, causing serious health problems especially to young children. Wood shavings in particular are a known human carcinogen. We cleaned as much as we could but I can imagine that there is still dust in areas that are hard to reach and cannot be easily cleaned.They know that we have a small baby, and we have expressed to them several times our concerns about VOCs and harmful elements about flooring that may affect the baby's health, dust included. It is extremely disappointing that they did not take this into consideration, instead leaving us with this risk of harming our child.
