China Marble Restaurant

A friend and I wanted to support the 'Dine in Chinatown' week and decided to support this local, new restaurant... and, I am so glad we did. Our server (likely one of the owners) was so polite, kind, and attentive. We had a few dishes, and each was exceptional!! Perhaps some of the best curried squid and shrimp dumplings I've had! And, the price paid was very reasonable. You NEED to check this place out!!!

Surprisingly good food! Had the chow mein, fried rice and a few other dishes. Large portions and fresh.

A bunch of us got together tonight with the goal of enjoying ourselves for dinner and supporting a business in Chinatown which has been dealing with the effects of homelessness, addictions and mental illness directly in front of their businesses.The result was a very enjoyable dinner with some excellent food served to us.Please support these businesses because they’re a historic part of Edmontons rich history. We brought the entire family and felt safe the entire time. We were left alone by everyone outside of the business.

INCREDIBLE is the one word I can use for the food here. It's truly a good Chinese dining experience, I really get the feeling the chef here has his own little touch on dishes on the menu. At first glance the menu looks like your standard western Chinese dishes, don't be fooled as each item my group and I ordered had a uniqueness that I rarely encounter. We started with an order of the Wonton soup, the broth was average my partner found it to be a bit salty, however the wontons in the soup were really good, the shrimp and texture tasted very close to the wonton soup I had in Guanzhou, the next dish we ordered was the XO noodles. Again the chef prepared this with a really nice XO sauce and the chili peppers really added th extra kick, the noodles had a terrific “Wok Hey” forgive my spelling .. shortly after receiving the noodles our order of sweet and sour pork arrived, the pork was good not to crispy not to soft, the sauce had strong sour hints no complaints. Lastly the dish that I felt was the star that night, so initially I wanted to try the duck, however we were informed that they had run out of duck for the evening so I decided to order the Half crispy chicken. WOW am I glad I did, the chicken was incredibly crispy and glazed with a mixture of soy sauce and garlic, the meat was tender while the outside was crispy, the flavor of the chicken was really good, we finished the entire dish it was really good, I will definitely be stopping here the next time I'm in Edmonton. I highly recommend that you check it out of if your in the area.

Classic Chinatown! So much history in a little spot. Eat delicious food and look at the history in the picture frame near the till.

Been there a couple of times now and both times the food was great and the portions generous (bring your tupperware for leftovers!). Between those occasions, I've tried: the chicken fried rice, the Shanghai noodles, the lemon chicken, and the Shanghai pork dumplings - all were excellent. The service is prompt and friendly, as well.

Very good customer service from the lady. The dining environment is very traditional with Chinese culture.Complementary black pepper soup is very rich and flavourful. The green tea was also quite good.The sweet and sour pork dish is definetly Westernized"

Beware....Bought some sechwan beef but keep seeing these things that look like hair all the way thru so gross I can't eat it. Also found a bone in my lemon chicken I wont be ordering from here again 1st and last time
