I had not been to Blind Channel Resort since 1991. But this year, US boaters not being able to travel in Canadian waters for reason of Covid-19, we decided to go for 2 nights. We stayed 3 because we were impressed and we felt safe. They take the virus seriously. Social distancing is followed as it should be.Beyond that, staff is very friendly, you can drop off recyclable cans and bottles. And they have excellent UV treated water. Will try the restaurant next time. I hear the goulash is excellent.

We came via the Campbell River Museum tour. The schnitzel was excellent, wine crip and cold and the carrot cake yummy. The service was great. Wished I had a way of coming back. Highly recommend the experience to anyone.

After 2 tough years, it was a pleasure to be treated well and to enjoy a lovely ling cod dinner at the resort restaurant. All the staff have to be multi-talented, they switch from 1 specialty to the next. Erin does cinnamon buns and wharfinger chores for ex. The views last night were spectacular. Who needs to fly to Europe when you can enjoy the natural beauty of BC?

Beautiful hidden gem plus a great place to work!Blind Channel is a beautiful spot with a very nice family, the Richters, running this resort. The garden is so well taken care of, the views do not get old, there is some nice trails and wildlife everywhere. As for work: Wanted to work around Vancouver Island. Found Blind Channel through Indeed, worked there from beginning of June until beginning of September. It is kind of in the middle of nowhere, but it's not: Not very far from Campbell river at all so can leave your car on a rec site twenty min by boat from Blind Channel (then go into town every once in a while). Accommodation provided for staff and good discounts on food from both the restaurant and store. They have lots of returning customers and generally everyone is on holidays or retired, so any customer service job is very pleasant because of this and because the Richters are trusting and easygoing.I 100% recommend Blind Channel for both a visit and as a place to work!

In early June, we spent 3 nights on our boat with our family, including three young grandsons. The boys had a great time, hiking through the forest to the big old cedar and fishing off the dock. Food was excellent. I highly recommend the halibut. Kudos to Eliot and his staff for keeping up the high standards during these trying times. We already look forward to our next visit.

Wonderful family run resort. Can't comment on the rooms because we were on the dock. Great dock hands, very friendly. Excellent German food at the restaurant. Stunning natural beauty.

We stayed in the marina and had dinner in the restaurant. Excellent service and everyone enjoyed their dinner. A ton of food - we had leftovers for lunch. Yum.

We found a lot more at Blind Channel Resort than just excellent service at a lovely location. We struck a deadhead about a mile from the resort and my wife was severely injured. I called them and shortly after was met at their fuel dock by 5 staff members ready to help, and boy did they! Within minutes, she was medically assessed, then Jeff and Hans took her by water taxi to meet an ambulance in Brown's Bay that they had arranged and shortly after she was at the North Island Hospital, where she also recieved excellent care! She is now recovering at home. The sincere concern I received from ALL the staff at the resort during my stay is something I will always remember. They are wonderful people!

Amazing view, great little cabin, very comfortable beds. A glass of wine or a beer on the front veranda looking at the water with a steak on the supplied BBQ.....what could be better. Fully stocked store at very reasonable prices. Staff is amazing and super friendly.

Well kept marina. Docks are in good shape, power and water work. Nice place with well kept grounds. We were here mid-May and although its great that Blind Channel is open year-round, until June the restaurant is not open, the store only has shelf stable items and some frozen food in a chest freezer, and, of course, the usual complete liquor store. All the buildings smell strongly of mold/mildew. Not our thing.
