Nature's Cottage Short Term Rentals

I had the pleasure of staying at this lovely cottage it was fantastic. we had everything we needed to make our stay as comfortable as possible. My kids still dreaming to go again and what they want to do next time, its clean which is really important to an OCD person lol , my hubby like sports so the ping bong was also a big hit as well the kitchen had everything we needed to prepare our own meals, Overall, I highly recommend this cottage to anyone looking for a cozy and relaxing getaway. Plus we took daily walks, its a place where everyone can be happy.The owners are wonderful, the place is well-equipped and in a great location, and the amenities make it a perfect spot for both adults and kids.

George & Kathy's Nature's Cottages are absolutely beautiful! We've stayed at 2 of them over the last 2 years (Washago & Bayfield), and are in the process of wanting to book our 3rd. Both cottages come stocked with everything you need to so you can literally just pack some comfy clothes and be on your way. Washago in particular is fabulous for the summer as it has a gorgeous lakefront dock with lots of outdoor seating. Bayfield was fabulous in the winter (especially for us with a dog) because it has a gorgeous fenced in yard + deck area. George & Kathy are incredibly responsive and just great hosts overall! Nothing but great things to say :)

Our family had an amazing week in this spacious Bayfield cottage which featured a large fenced backyard for the dogs to run around in and a large fire pit with 8 Muskoka chairs. The sunroom was large and great to eat in and play games. The cottage was clean, well decorated and spacious. The beach was close by and private enough to swim with the dogs. Close by were several craft breweries and wineries which we enjoyed in the sunny weather. Overall, a great family experience and we look forward to making this an annual event.

June 2021 we stayed at Natures Cottage. It was a visit we don’t regret. George was a great host! Extremely responsive and thought of everything. The welcome basket was a great touch and we loved everything in it. The closed in yard was perfect for our kids to run around. The walk to the beach was short but they stairs and an exciting hike if we went through the trail. Extremely clean and well taken care of properly. We can’t wait to book our next vacation with George!

George’s nature cottage was amazing! A great place to relax and unwind. George is a great host who always provided great instruction to help make our stay enjoyable. The house is spacious, with a big fenced in backyard to enjoy. Steps from the water where you can witness the picturesque sunsets over Lake Huron. Definitely a place to we will have to return to sometime in the near future!

We rented the Bayfield property for a week and the cottage was absolutely beautiful. The cottage was clean, cozy and very welcoming. We were greeted with a couple bottles of wine, which was a nice touch. The cottage is very spacious and the wrap around balcony was a nice place to sit back and enjoy a drink. The cottage had everything from a firepit to an outdoor shower. The beach was a short walk from the property and the sunset in the evenings were beautiful. The boys enjoyed throwing rocks as the waves crashed onto the beach. During the day, we enjoyed the short drive to the heart of Bayfield and Grand Bend. The owners were very knowledgeable about the area and they responded to our emails quickly. I absolutely recommend visiting this cottage.

One of the Best beach cottage/retreats I've ever been too. The location is spectacular, the cottage amenities are fabulous and the hosts - George & Kathy - are awesome. We went for a 4-day weekend over Easter and it seemed like we were there for a week! Time seemed to have stood still. Plenty to explore, sight-see and enjoy, both on the beach and in the town of BayField. Quaint little shops &: restaurants. Great atmosphere and above all, plenty of R&R at the Nature's Cottage. We were 3adults and 4kids. All accommodated perfectly with lots of games to play and keep us entertained, indoors and outdoors. The cottage is perfectly equipped with everything you may need!! Such a wonderful place to have experienced the Western Ontario Blue waters!!!

A group of close friends and family got together two months ago and decided to take a trip out of town. We found Nature's Cottage (Bayfield) online and decided to give it a try. Reservations as well as communication with the host was easy and professional. George was more than happy to help in any way so our time at this beautiful cottage ends up being as comfortable and as memorable as possible. Walk to the beach was very enjoyable since it takes only couple of minutes to get to it. Beach itself is isolated and beautiful so we spent couple of hours just enjoying the view and calm and quiet environment. Property itself is huge. The deck that's wrapped all around the cottage gives a feeling of luxury and pure enjoyment. BBQ is well maintained with two additional propane tanks on the side. Very spacious backyard with plenty of sitting arrangements around fire pit. All rooms are very clean and comfortable. Large kitchen is equipped with everything and more that you need to make any kind of meal.Overall an amazing Property on amazing location. We are already taking a look at next available dates so we can book another trip at this beautiful cottage.

My family and I, first time cottage renters, stayed at the Washago location this summer and absolutely loved it! The whole experience, from booking to check out was seamless.The following really stands out to us: excellent communication with George, cottage matching pictures in the ad, keyless door lock, the cleanliness of the cottage, the amenities (especially wifi as a couple of my family members had to work), and the gift for our dog that we received upon arrival!I highly recommend this property and the host!Jamie C-S

We spent an amazing week at Nature’s Cottage Bayfield. It was everything we expected and needed to relax and enjoy quality family time.George is a great host and made sure we had everything we possibly could need. He checked in to make sure everything was in order and to our satisfaction!The cottage is super spacious and nicely renovated. We loved having our morning coffee on the wrap around deck. The large fenced yard is just perfect for family games and evening fires. Our dog loved all the space to run around.The short walk down to the beach was great and the best part was we had it practically to ourselves. I do recommend water shoes. The sunsets were beautiful.Charming downtown Bayfield is a few minutes drive away.Highly recommend this cottage and looking forward to exploring the other 2 Nature’s Cottage locations.
