Honestly their are many students with disabled parents and they still have no support system for the parents some are blind n have heart condition n they would rather see ur child walk home alone in a blizzard not to mention the students are mixing tide and glue making and selling slime I've had two eye infections n my child this is by far the worst school I've ever had to deal with last year I couldn't take my daughter to her class safety laws as I watch others do the same n have no issues half the teacher not mentioning any names call kids cry babies because they suck their thumbs n scream till red in the face at mentally challenged children there are a few good teachers but far n few between my child's stated teachers swearing n the best part is they don't check heads for lice just picks n chooses who they wanna target this week n kick them out where's the education there this school should be shut down closed for good n some teachers stripped of the right to teach or interact with any child there's word a bunch are getting together to obtain a lawyer n contact school board n u can bet if I find this group of people I'll be joining my daughter deserves the right to top education n protection but where is it when kids can walk off school property n parent aren't allowed to make sure our kids are safe anyone looking to send ur child to this school reconcider if I wasn't stuck in the position I am I woulda moved n changed school years ago but I am blind I just had a heart attack I almost lost my hey n spent many nights in icu fighting where's the support for children who have disabled parents where's theer support anywhere so sad n disappointed the girl that answers calls told me today to let my ten year old walk home in this blizzard because it's to much to put an effort into helping with my child's safety hope the school board brings in some more positive changes before it's to late and law suits are in place......update school board called waiting for child lawyer to call n my family lawyer these losers don't care they are the reason my child is falling behind they care bout their paychecks we'll get ready village union media n a lawsuit see how much ur paychecks mean to u now n if u don't smarten up omg I swear everyone of u will be at unemployment Mr Ferguson virbally abusies autistic kids to the point of tears last year he gave my daughter who was born with holes in her heart because she had to sit n shut her mouth while he taunted her friend for sucking her thumb called her a little baby the girls for years talk bout the gym teacher n call him Mr creeper because he walks into girls change room looking at them yelling to hurry up I could keep going kids are very open n free to express their feelings in my home we bring love comfort and Jesus n I've been told n seen felt with so much I'm 34 never touched a hard drug in my life n don't drink so I think n see clearly parents PLEASE talk to ur kids n really listen this educational abuse our kids are going threw daily is setting the bar for who they choose to be in the future as our future leaders we don't need a bunch of bitter adults deciding the fate of our future senior years the chain is going to be broken today ...trust ur kids n gut don't let these so called teachers destroy ur child's mental stability please let's come together and fight for better education better quality teachers who went to school to cope with high needs children the right to have less PA days they get two months off like really lazy same with bus drivers my day we would be in school in three feet of snow and now it gets cloudy and the driver's cry n refuse to drive again there Gose the kids education it's sad what this day has come to I say come to my beautiful clean home see how we live n then take action to prevent kids like mine from losing their education because they are to lazy to check all children for lice we keep a clean life n yet the kids that are giving it to others who are still sitting in class so so ready to rock so roll that ball village I'm ready.

Best school in Durham I have had really good times at the school I would recommend sending your child to the school

best school in durham. i have a 6 and 9 year old. problems with school from day one. a kid recently steals my daughters boots and throws them in dirty toilet. is done. did a teacher help herwhen asked. teachers do contact us when something has happened. when they do they wait until it becomes a gigantic problem and are super nice about it. the secratary is the best lady ive everhad to deal with. on the plus side the principal is most definitly a nice and helpful lady. alot of neglect in this school. will be changing schools next year STAY AWAY

There are way better schools it’s very low budget most of the teachers are nice but the kids absolutely suck

It’s very unfortunate that Village Union just excepts severe bullying and brushes it under the table as if it’s not “their problem”… I’ve had some issues with my son coming home upset or with marks on his body , never once a phone call home to let me know .My 9 year old son said the safe space at this school is to lock himself in the washroom stall . After my son having a Rope wrapped around his neck and I have the photos to prove it I’ve decided to take farther measures and bring it to the head of the school board as I got not phone call .I have 3 other moms who feel the same way , having to PRAY our kids come home safe .Let’s also not forget the suicide rate in children nowadays from bullying !!!you think they would take it more serious but I guess pushing it under the table and not dealing with is an easier way for them!!
