Been here before and came back for their lunch special. We were greeted well and got seated right away since it was not that busy. I got the burger steak lunch special and my partner got the steak lunch special. They’re both great, the burger steak was so juicy and soft while the steak was as expected. Would recommend giving this place a try at least once :)

Nice to see more halal steak options in Toronto, so I came here with some friends after work. The menu is overwhelming to look at if you are coming here for the first time.A lot of interesting dishes they have, but of course I came here for the steak. I order the striploin 12 ounce steak medium that includes broccoli, corn, potatoes and onions (which I substitute for extra potatoes. The steak came out more towards rare to medium rare, but not bothered by that since it had a nice char on the exterior. Since the steak is Triple AAA certified I can’t really complain, it was delicious. What was the best part of the meal would have to be the potatoes. They are roasted to perfection with a nice crunch when you bite on them and soft in the inside.Would definitely come back here again!

With the atmosphere like any good established steakhouse... Expectations were reasonably high although the results seemed to be pretty average and rather disappointing across the table. The Wagyu Don I had asked for was good without being great with the cook being just about there and a dish that could've always done with a little more meat. Sadly across the table, the Sirloin was tough and barely rare and needed 2 hotplates to get it to a consistent rare to consume comfortably.Supposing this is a one-off, I would be willing to give them another try down the line with the recommendation to introduce thicker hot plates that would allow the dish to remain warm for longer and even cover for any cooking inconsistencies.

In a Toronto downtown infested with Burger and fries restaurants, this joint just shines. Amazing food with great portion sizes. Food is nutritious, homemade-like. I absolutely recommend.

What an amazing meal! We tried to have a little of everything, and while I'm giving five stars, it wouldn't be an honest review without sharing the minor disappointments. The garlic bread spent a tad too long in the oven, and while it wasn't burnt, it was dry and overly crisp a bit like eating a large crouton. My side of potatoes was cut cubes like home fries, but without any seasoning. That out of the way, the wings were hot and tasty, the Wagu out of this world, and all the other dishes in the pics, spot on. A great dining experience. Highly recommend.

I recently visited this steakhouse and tried their omurice and 10oz striploin steak. The service provided by the younger waiters was excellent, but the older staff seemed a little iffy. The restaurant atmosphere is cozy and welcoming, which is fitting of their moo-vement" to transform the traditional steakhouse experience into a fun

The volcano fried rice (which is what I came here for, expecting something similar to Pepper Lunch) was really disappointing, it was mostly rice with very little beef and not much sauce.. And it was a long wait time. Omurice was decent. Not sure if I’d come back again for the steaks judging on the food we got today

First + foremost service was excellent! The food was delicious, hot and fresh. The sizzling plates are a perfect touch to the experience. Casual vibe, good music and overall very welcoming. If you’re downtown looking for a casual spot for a great steak dinner — do your taste buds a favour and stop in.

We had a wonderful dinner here. We got lucky without a reservation when we arrived at 6pm on a Friday. We were promptly seated and greeted by friendly staff. The physical menu was helpful, as you can get a visual sense of the cut. And the virtual menu gives you a sense of the minimum price if you are too lazy to do the math.We got the tenderloin, okonomiyaki, and a green salad to share. The steak was tender and juicy at medium rare. The green salad was big enough for 2, and it met my veggie intake for the meal! I’d prob skip the okonomiyaki as it was nothing special.

This was a well-balanced, delicious meal! Started with scrumptious gyoza for an app. The steak was cooked just as ordered and the sides were a great compliment for the meat. This was a filling meal, but didn’t leave me feeling stuffed or uncomfortable, which is exactly what I wanted. The Sapporo went surprisingly well with the dish. The online ordering was easy to use, but the servers were still attentive and helpful. It was busy on a weekend night, so i recommend making a reservation.
