FYidoctors - Edmonton - Brewery District

I have been visiting FYI Doctors for my occular requirements for many years now. They have an adequate selection of frames, and all of the popular types of lenses are available. The staff is friendly, professional, and knowledgeable, thus making a purchase there a positive experience. The pricing is fair, but this is not a discount optical dispenser. This is a review for the brewery district location, and parking is a bit of an issue.

Wonderful service again by Dr. Choi and Kaylee. Kaylee picked out some great looking frames that I wouldn't have looked at. And, I chose the frames she picked out. Kaylee went over every option and we chose a package that definitely suits my needs. Discount on prescription sunglasses was a bonus. I have always been exceptionally pleased with glasses and lens from FYI. The lens are so much better than Costco, which is my previous pair.

Not sure if FYidoctors just has poor service or they are going out of business. Went to the WestEd location at lunch to get a quote, said I’d be back after work to order with my prescription (forgot it). Sales guy was super kind and helpful, said he would see me in then. Came back and the windows are papered over for “inventory”. On the front of it I’d say just bad service, but then went to the Brewery District store and it is closed too. The door says it is open, but lights are off and no one is around. Strange. Mom going elsewhere as I don’t want to order glasses for them to be another computer that goes belly up and leaves me out hundreds of dollars.

I recommend a very good eye clinic, last Friday, my husband and I went to this eye clinic for a check-up. We received very good service,Dr.Choi carefully did all the examinations for us and explained our situation to us in detail, which made us very and reassured.The staff cleaned my glasses for free. Call our family and tell them to come and take us home, their considerate service makes us feel warm,and express our heartfelt thanks to them for their warm service.

5 years of great experience! Dr Choi is an incredibly capable and genuine doctor. I always feel really well informed and taken care of after an appointment.Choosing frames with Richard recently was also fantastic. I have a lot of specific requests (narrow frames, nose bridge size, etc) and Richard went through the entire store for me finding all the possibilities. This was a huge help and I was very grateful to have the assistance and all my questions answered.Great place for eye care and great glasses!

I have been to this office for a few years now and I am always happy with the services I receive. Our doctor is dr. Allison, she is knowledgeable, so nice and very good with kids. The customer service is always great as well. Kaylee helped me choose and order new eyeglasses. She was so patient and helpful, it was a true pleasure working with her. Thank you Kaylee, your are great!

I have been going to FYI doctors since 2017, and this is my favourite location. The staff is always friendly and helpful. On my last eye exam, I brought my glasses that had been bent out of shape from rolling on them. I thought that they were done. Kaylee, the optician that helped me, took them into the back, and they came out good as new she also helped me with the warranty on my sunglasses and lenses. It really felt like above and beyond service. I will happily keep coming back to this location.

I went in for an eye exam and inevitably my first pair of glasses. Everything at this location went perfectly... Dr. Der was detailed with my eye exam results and follow up questions. Ty was very patient with my selection of frames, and helped a lot with considerations I may not have made, since it was my first pair. Kaylee was the person who I picked up my order from, and she was very informative about maintaining the eyewear, and also got me a comprehensive insurance plan at a price that will not leave you mumbling hate towards big insurance. All of my phonecalls went through Andy at the front desk, and he was always in good spirits, helpful and prompt.Great job to everyone involved!!
