We bought our two sofas and loveseat from Lazy Boy 2 or 3 yrs ago.To be honest, I think I could have got the same quality products from Leon's. The cushions and fabric don't seem to be holding up as well as one would expect from Lazy Boy.We had a warranty issue with the fabric. I went to the store to get assistance and was told I'd be contacted by the repair people. The repair took 3 months to get done.The warranty guys come from Calgary, so they fit you in when they can. When buying these extended warranties, you assume that it is taken care of either by the store or local craftsmen. Wrong on both accounts. Lesson learned.We also had a credit at the store from a previous purchase. While we couldn't find the paperwork at home, we figured the store would have a record of it. Again, wrong.They had just changed their computer programs and had no record. Convenient. We later found the paperwork at home. Which won't do us any good as we don't plan on buying from them again.The quality of Lazy Boy products is very disappointing.

I shopped around for a sofa almost everywhere in Red Deer. After my experience at La-Z-Boy, everything else seemed like a downgrade.I feel bad, I can't remember the sales lady's name that helped me, but she was fantastic. Genuinely passionate about the product she was selling.I ended up purchasing a couch from them and I couldn't be happier. It is so comfortable and dog hair doesn't stick. We had a small peice break in it and after a quick call, they were quick to offer a free replacement.

I have been purchasing Lazy Boy furniture for 25 years and always found their after sale customer service to be great. I have purchased in Ontario and in B.C. Then I shopped at the Red Deer store. I bought a Piper sofa with custom cover and received it in only 4 weeks. Just after I received it, I noted that the sofa was on sale. A company as large as this plans sales weeks ahead. The salesperson should have known that the piper would be on sale. Josh could have informed me that it would be on sale. He did not. I believe he wanted the higher commission. I called and attempted to deal with him. No joy. I told him I am retired on a fixed income. I wanted the difference between the sale price and what I paid. With the sale price, and adding the exact cover that I ordered, there is a $450.00 price difference. I saved a copy of this. That amount is very significant to me. I attempted to deal with Lazy Boy Canada via their site. No one even acknowledged me. I do not recommend the Red Deer store and I sadly no longer recommend Lazy Boy. What happened to their customer service?!

We dealt with Patty at La-z-boy in Red Deer, she was amazing to deal with and answered all my questions. She helped me with choosing table styles and colors also made sure we were getting the best deal that we could before ordering the table. She would even text me instead of having to go in all time for any questions we both had, that made things so much easier with having three kids. The day I did go in to select colors she was so good with the kids and let them sit on the beds which kept them busy and happy! I will recommend her to anyone and La-Z-Boy seems like a great place to shop with amazing quality furniture.
