Scotiabank

I’d give this branch and all of Scotiabank a negative rating if google allowed it. In May of 2019 I had a fraud incident that resulted in me having a large amount of money taken from my account and the minute I noticed what had happened I contacted the fraud department and then also went into my branch to have my card cancelled. Fast forward to January 2020, after having called the call centre and going into my branch NUMEROUS times over the past 7 MONTHS I still don’t have my money back because “too much time has passed” and “the proper steps were not taken”. Keep in mind they promised that I’d have my money back as well as compensation for all of the time I’ve waited but now they “unfortunately cannot reimburse me”. :)

You need to replace your outside drive thru ATM. 6 out of 10 times it's not working for deposits. I'm more then frustrated that time after time it doesn't work! If you want my payments on time, replace those machines. Your wasting my time , gas, energy!

Been a customer since early 2000's every year the service has gotten worse and the fees keep going up. Never open term bankers hours definitely apply. Atms are horrible not working or no cash.Switch banks after all this time as I do not believe they are in the business to look after people.I have much more so is someone from Scotiabank wants to learn why they are losing customers call me

Called to get them to buy out a loan that I have with another bank since all my loans are with scotia bank as is and the lady I got sent to had zero interest in helping me made up a bunch of bad excuses and told me to call the loan department myself to figure it out, what a waste of my time very disappointed

Typical Canadian bank. Service was fast and friendly.

I don't often deal with the tellers but in the few times I have, it was very, very slow... any of the financial advisers though have been fantastic. They are very knowledgeable and I really feel that they are looking out for my best interests, not just trying to push their products on me. Great people to work with.

I am not a fan of Scotia Bank!! The best part about Scotia Bank to me is the Scene Card reward system. That and the front-line staff at the Rochdale location, who are super awesome and made dealing with Scotia, tolerable.

They've been taking and collecting more money they needed for land taxes. Asked for it back and it has been 7 WORKING days a day still nothing. Not a little money either. 4500.00 BUT if you did that. LOOK out. Be the last time with #Scotiabank

This bank has gone down hill so much…. Well over a year now their deposit system rejects random bills of money and checks. Sometimes they reject all my cash. They said they were fixing it over a year ago. HAHA! I have my business account here and anytime we have to deposit checks, It’s a nightmare because their system thinks they’re American checks when clearly they’re Canadian checks from local businesses here in the city. It’s a joke. Won’t be long before I pull all my stuff and families stuff and move to a different bank
