Sarpino's Pizzeria Lake Cowichan

October 15th we ordered pizza for a birthday celebration. One Gluten free pizza, one thin crust pizza and one regular crust pizza. The gluten free and thin crust pizzas must have got mixed up and someone was very sick that night after ingesting gluten. I would like compensation for this careless mistake. Thank you.,..Joy

Great addition to Lake Cowichan. I had an excellent first impression. Ordered on a really busy night, near closing. They took my order even though they were close to running out of dough, and, when they did, called to offer me gluten-free. I'm glad they did because it was great! Really good pizza and tasty chicken wings!

Thought I'd try the new pizza place in town. I realize they were soft opening and ordered my pizza knowing their were 5 people ahead of me. I was told it would be 25-30 minutes so I decided to wait. I finally got my order 1 hour 15 minutes later. I'm alright with the wait realizing it's a soft open. I got home with my pizza within 5 minutes and found it was cold and the dough was not cooked all the way.

Decent pizza. Sauce is good. Dairy-free cheese is good. Original crust is very soft. Wings are decent but little to no sauce. Get a dipping sauce with them makes all the difference. Boneless pork ribs were okay but again, just a drizzle of sauce. Greek Donair was kind of terrible but maybe just not my thing. Overall pretty good! And they do debit/credit card at the door. Nice addition to Lake Cowichan.

Best pizza I’ve had in a long time.

Not even done eating and I’m writing a review before I forget! SO GOOD! The Philly Cheesesteak pizza is amazing. As was everything else we ordered. LC is lucky to have you!

Ordered 3 large pizzas for delivery, was quoted $59 with their ‘$5 Off Coupon’. Received a call back about 20 mins later saying our pizzas were about to go out the door but she’d made a mistake and the coupon was for pickup only so it was going to be ‘a little bit more’. Strange that they would call us to tell us this rather than eat $5 mistake but okay, wasn’t expecting a coupon anyway.When pizzas show up, the order is almost $70, +$11 vs the quoted amount. That’s a lot for 3 basic pizzas!On top of that we had ordered a Margherita pizza assuming they had fresh basil, but it turned out to be dried basil which really isn’t the same. You would think when you order a 2 topping pizza that both toppings would be fresh.In my opinion, if you quote a price - calling the customer back right as their order is going out the door is a bad move - on top of that you need to be honest and clear on what the new cost is. Also, make all your toppings fresh or again be honest and clear when they are not. Overall, a disappointing experience.

Do not order gluten free, it’s as horrible as cardboard. Also expect any vegan pizza to have meat juices and or pieces on your vegaterian pizza.

Usually pretty good, had the pork ribs today, they were absolutely pathetic for $11 tiny dried up bits of pork, small portion. Pizza is decent, I wish they would change the bacon, it’s disgusting.

It was fast, cooked well with a great amount of topping. Also very well priced. Thank you.
