Great little Beach just 25 mins out of kamloops. You can just got for an hour or two or you can stay at the campsite for the weekend. Almost always busy but you can always find a spot. The water is great for swimming, and the beach for bbqs. Gibraltar Rock and it's a zing view points are also here so really a little bit of everything

The washrooms are no longer open but there are clean pit toilets available. Beautiful lake and beach on any sunny day. Amount of available parking spots suggests this area is packed in summer and I'm not surprised, very nice park

15 min from town. Long water front for public use. Large campground in the hills behind. The water is known for its duck hitch propensity along the beaches.

Great spot for swimming and paddle sports, or to have a BBQ and just enjoy the scenery! Very close to Kamloops and accessable via paved roads.

Today the water was high and chilly but it is early in the season. The beach" (grassy area) was packed but there was still ample parking. This is a great little getaway spot just outside of kamloops for picnicing

Water is a comfortable temperature and beaches are nice. Has lots of grass and some Sandy beach areas. Swimming area has large section of weeds before it opens up so either have to stick to the shallows or swim/float through to an open area. Picnics tables are nice and bathrooms are well kept. Lots of parking and a beautiful view of Gibraltar rock. Avoid the beach trail to campground if not prepared for a steep hike. We did see a couple leaches but had no issues with them. Lots of cool shells in the water and little fishies willing to nibble your toes if you stand still long enough. Definitely want to explore the area more.

Best place in town to unwind and get back to sights and sounds around you, because there is no cell phone service. Camping area are spaced just perfect for that privacy or just close enough for family members to camp in same area. I've been going since 2009, a top favorite for my family. Cheers and be safe.Camp ground keeper very friendly and helpful.

Excellent lake but there are to many people stayong on the dock makes it hard to tie up ur boat or get to it. There is a huge erea to use for that there is no need for them to be on the dock.
