Unions earn all the money at the sacrifice of their workers. Holding the Public hostage from services for their own benefit will only raise prices that the average consumer cannot afford.

Must agree with other reviewers here, this is not the friendliest place to shop. When compared to the BCLC at Jericho, which is crazy friendly and amazing service – I’d almost rather have self-checkout. Just saying.

The selection is huge but there are some really unpleasant employees at this particular store. One memorable time I shopped here was the time a very grumpy elderly checker held up the line for about 10 minutes demanding every form of ID I had and trying to convince the manager to kick me out. (For the record, the manager did not see any problem with selling to me and seemed like a very nice person). I love this store's selection but I avoid it because this sort of thing seems to happen every time. I prefer the location on Dunbar because the employees are much more friendly in general.

Judgemental staff. While I was taking a few drinks home, for no apparent reason the person at service desk told that he had already called the police on me.It would've been more appropriate to simply decline services if he had reasonable doubt.I was sober and perplexed. Not sure whether I look funny.

This company needs to hire people who possess enough intelligence to determine someone’s age bracket. I cannot fathom how a 33yo with a passport and a myriad of digital ID cards cannot buy alcohol in a country where the legal age is 19.

Yeah, pretty good. Nice to have a store that's open Sunday days and holidays and has a reasonable freezer. You'd think that they'd have a good beer selection on that side of town though, not exactly a low income neighbourhood.
