Not impressed with their service, brought ice machine in for repair, lasted two weeks, brought back again they said they repaired it took home installed didn't work asked them about it said they would call me back never did and wouldn't answer the phone. Had to drive down to there office said they would get back to me never did so I called manufacturer, they informed me that Vantage said I never paid the bill. Funny how I have the two visa receipts saying I did.Wouldn't recommend these guys for repair but they are the only certified repair facility for SUB-ZERO.Looks like I will take the payout for my ice maker from the manufacturer.

I've been dealing with Vantage Appliances for repairs to my Subzero fridge/freezer for many years and I'd highly recommend them. Their prices are reasonable, they usually have a technician out within 24 hours during the week.This morning I called with a fridge emergency, in less than three hours it's fixed! Sandy from the office responded soon after and said that one of their techs happened to be in our area and that he'd try to fit me into his already busy schedule.Rob has been an absolutely excellent technician the few times he's worked on my Subzero. He does fantastic work, is careful with my home, takes pride in his work, and is extremely knowledgeable. He's very fair with his billing time too, which I appreciate. I'd highly recommend him!Thanks very much for you help today Rob and Sandy!!

We purchased a WOLF gas cook top back in October from a reputable appliance dealer here in Calgary. Unfortunately from the moment it was installed it wasn't working as expected. After calling the appliance companies service department, they had Vantage Appliances come out to repair as part of the warranty agreement. After a couple attempts to determine the problem they discovered that the sales rep ordered a liquid propane model and not natural gas. This was an easy fix with a $75 dollar part that the appliance company service department was to order on our behalf. After 6 weeks of waiting, emailing for updates, and being ghosted by our sales rep and service department, I reached out to Vantage and spoke with Brandie. Only then did we get action. She ordered us the part, had it in stock within 3 business days and then took it upon herself to contact the appliance company manager to ensure it was paid for and approved for installation. Within 3 days of that she had the their service tech come out and install the part. This to me is outstanding customer service and not even her responsibility. She did for us, what the appliance company didn't.Thank you Brandie and Vantage Appliances for going above and beyond.

I don’t normally write reviews Especially if I freaked out at an employee for which I feel shameful. Who ever reads this please put yourself in my shoes, I’ve had some trouble with my laundry dryer the last couple of weeks and last week it stopped working completely so I call the number that is on the side of the machine and was instructed to call vantage. Everything was smooth I got a decent quote $380 to replace the belt and I set up the time 11:30 am on a Tuesday. This way my wife can get ready and I can drop her off at work then be back in time for the repairman. . .9:45 am this man is knocking on my door and my phone is ringing.. vantage repair man at the door so now my wife has zero privacy to get ready and we are both flustered by the lack of care by a reputable company. After that he asked me to lift the dryer so he can fix it to which I replied I hired you to do this job why am I doing the heavy lifting? For $380 of my hard working money you should do the job especially barging in 2 hours before you were supposed to be here.$380 ? He laughs.. I’m like yes that’s what I was quoted On the phone! He replied quite smugly and said minimum 500$?!! 580$!! After the service cost. I was livid 580$ could buy me a new dryer!! I called and freaked out!As a Canadian and a Albertan I do not have much free time because of my work schedule and I don’t have much money due to the economy and this company has absolute zero respect for that. I do not recommend this company to anyone. I apologize to the people that work there that I offended that day I was in complete shock!

Highly recommend this company for any service work. Doug has visited our home a few times and is professional and very knowledgeable in this field. He takes the time to diagnose the problem and keeps us informed through the process. It is very visible that this company and Doug have the old business values where they truly care about the client and and the service they provide.

Called Vantage for a dishwasher repair. The tech spent a total of 10 minutes, told us there was something stuck in the line, restarted the dishwasher and left. A few hours later when the dishwasher was still running and we couldn't shut it off, we went downstairs to flip the breaker only to find water was running through our entire duct system! Called a late night plumber for $560.00 who said it was just the dishwasher leaking out the bottom! Still waiting for Vantage Appliance to get back to us after ignoring 30 calls or more plus emails! Looks like I'll have a dishwasher in the middle of my kitchen all the long weekend as somehow they cannot contact a tech to come!

We purchased a new oven which only worked about 12 days out of 15 months, we had the supplier's repairperson attempt to fix it once, the Brand company attempt to fix it twice, all of who insinuated that it may be our electrical outlet, but weren't sure. A master electrician checked our outlet and attempted to diagnose the problem without luck. Covid19 without a stove/oven was challenging. After speaking to Vantage Appliances, they were happy to send someone to diagnose our problem. Doug from Vantage Appliances not only diagnosed our problem, went above and beyond to fix the electrical problem and as a bonus, offered to straighten our 15 month old refrigerator door. Doug/Vantage was extremely professional, took extreme safe care of us and himself regarding Covid19 safety precautions. We will always choose Vantage Appliances Inc. over any other repair company and strongly recommend Vantage every time!!! Thank You Doug & Vantage Appliances!!

Technicians arrived at a very reasonable time within the window given both days. Problem was more convoluted than expected and required a second visit with a second tech, the appointment was scheduled promptly and the problem was figured and fixed the day day with the extra support. Techs were very knowledgeable, friendly and professional. Safety guidelines were adhered to. They also went above and beyond explaining features and care of other appliances in the house. Rates were not unreasonable for the level of knowledge and expertise required. Would recommend and use again.

They definately get a 10 out of 10 for being unprofessional and dishonest. Only communicated with Sandy and Brandy (girls at the front) and ALL communication was always initiated by us. No call to say “it’s ready to be picked up”. Paid for first repair in full (quit working after 2 weeks). Brought back for a second repair, to fix the first repair, and they expected full payment for that second fix. Thankful we only paid a portion of that second fix bill because upon bringing the ice maker back home and installing it… it was still not working. We then went to the manufacturer with our concerns over Vantage’s repairs and their customer service. In turn, Vantage lied and told them we didn’t pay our bill (we have our receipts) and they felt uncomfortable dealing with us. In my opinion, their workmanship and customer service is below average and should not be the only go to repair company to service high end appliances. I’d be uncomfortable with any further dealings with us too after blatantly spreading untruths about our character and not fixing what you said you fixed.

I made a mistake of calling them and not asking their fares. I was charged 140$ for the call in and 60$ for 10 minutes of assessment + GST. Total 210$. Then I got a quotation for the repair of almost $1,000. It is true that I made the mistake because they asked me to provide my credit card information and I should have asked. But couldn't they have informed me about the price of the services? I found that unprofessional considering it is a rate out of the market.
