Doogan's Pet Emporium

You insist your puppies are from reputable local breeders. Listing the breeders names and addresses with your puppies for sale will solve this problem . Everyone adopting should insist on seeing the breeding facilities before buying a puppy. If anyone selling puppies will not disclose the breeder, buyers should assume they will potentially be supporting a puppy mill which is synonymous with animal abuse. I would never buy from a pet store. Never been a reputable place for buying a puppy. Right up there with Kijiji.

We ended up buying 2 puppies and all of the staff were super nice, extremely knowledgeable, and incredibly helpful. They gave us all of the information we could possibly need with training new pups and explained the whole procedure they have for getting the puppies checked before they come home. All in all an awesome experience.

I bought a budgie from Doogan’s yesterday. I new nothing about pets, just wanted to buy a pet for my daughter. David was very kind, patient and helpful. He took the time to go over every little detail and how to take care of the bird. He told us the necessary items to buy and even gave us an additional discount. He went above and beyond to mKe sure we were satisfied. I would highly recommend this pet store to anyone. You wont be disappointed.

Best experience I’ve had yet please ignore my last review about them as I was angry and upset and I did not know anything about reptiles at the point. I was wrong this place is by far amazing. I got to meet the owner today and he was more then amazing and understanding. Very knowledgeable about his reptiles and knows how to raise some amazing reptiles and animals. If your in the Orangeville area please stop by and pay a visit. They are by far the best pet shop in Orangeville and pet smart wouldn’t even compare. Doogans is an awesome place to even stop by and get that special something for your furry friend as well. I got much love and respect for them and today bought a bearded dragon off them. He was in amazing condition and super healthy I look forward to my new forever friend. Also bought a leopard gecko off them and honestly both reptiles are by far the healthiest reptiles I’ve purchased. You can ask them a lot of questions and they are very highly experienced in the reptile field. I love these guys and I hope you stop by and get yourself a new reptile friend I promise you won’t regret it 110%. Ignore all the bad reviews you see on here. Doogans you guys are amazing and I want to give a special thanks to the boss for allowing me to buy my new friend. I’ll always recommend you guys for years to come and look forward to stopping by in the future to buy more gear off you guys. Thanks for all you do

Update: 6 months later - beautiful, healthy Lionhead rabbit. (Added photo)My wife and I went in there on whim, we popped in to look at some cute pets, and well, we fell in love with a little dwarf rabbit. The staff was excellent in letting us handle the rabbit after a short education in how to handle appropriately. As we were mulling over our purchase, the owner helped us in the aisles with figuring out initial cost and monthly expenses, and what products we may or may not want. The experience was great, the staff, and owner were very knowledgeable and ultimately swayed our decision to our new addition to the family. Thank you very much Doogan's, we love our little rabbit!

We got our boy jaxx back in 2019 he’s an American bulldog. The staff was amazing always helpful and our boy is extremely healthy. We can’t thank you enough for our handsome boy

Yelp makes you write a lot so I just copy pasted from there sryA lot of people trash for no reason but doogans is the best pet and pet store in orangeville and surrounding area, with visibly healthy animals and tons of great supplies. they even offer starter kits if you’re a first time buyer of a certain pet which is so helpful. the staff have lots of knowledge and help you find what stuff you need, and have great recommendations. =) the birds and ferrets are always so curious and friendly. <3Store has fantastic pricing. my family friends and I have purchased animals from here and all are in excellent health and condition. it looks like they care very much about the animals they have in store. they have reptiles and birds which have got lots of toys,perches. they have brands like EXOTERRA and Zoomed, which is great because I get them at a great price than say petsmarton the downside the aisles are inaccessible. I’m not large I’m fairly average/skinny and I have a little trouble navigating which is not ideal. if you have a walking aid (cane or walker cart thing, idk what it’s called sorry) or even a baby stroller it will be hard to move around, let alone a wheelchair.I hope they fix this issue because it’s a great store and great people, with tons of info I would love for more people in orangeville to shop here and learn from the staff to take care of their pets.otherwise my favourite store to get pet supplies and pets from. =)
