Dominelli School of Music

My son has been coming to Dominelli Music for a couple of years now. He has grown substantially and keeps growing with every lesson, gig and experience he is given. He is excited to come to his lessons and I truly believe that this has a lot to do with the energy, challenges and patience of the instructors he is with. Dominelli's music is more like going to visit with family than a school. The owners and instructor's treat everyone with such a warmth and respect that it really makes the learning experience fun and exciting. Keep up the Good Work Everyone!

Our kids love going for their music lessons at the Dominelli School of Music, North side, they have been attending classes for over 2 years, my daughter plays the Ukulele and is now doing vocals and my son is learning to play the guitar. Our friends and family are amazed to see these young kids perform so well in such a short time. Their Teachers Jeremy and Stasia are dedicated and extremely talented. They both have brought out the hidden talents in my kids. The staff are very professional and friendly. Brandy is a wonderful person and has couple of times helped to work to accommodate the kids schedule, specially for my son who's soccer practice gets in the way. I would also say that truly this is an amazing music school.

One of the best music schools in Edmonton! If you want to teach your child in a proper way, enrol them here. The instructors are very nice and kind! They will make sure that your child will learn in the best way and most fun method available! The facility is good too, very warm environment! The recitals at the end were grand!

My two daughters have been going to Dominelli Scool of Music for many years now taking voice and piano. Our music teacher is Marissa and we feel so lucky to have met such a wonderful person who is so pleasant and communicates in such a warm caring way which only nurtures my girls love of music even more. As a parent I see how dedicated the instructors and staff are and their number one priority is that the kids are having fun while learning music. To see how much the program has grown and physically expanded over the years makes me happy because they are able to reach out to more kids to offer music and the arts. It truly is something special when I see my kids participating in recitals with such courage and at home to hear them tinkering on the piano creating their own melodies and singing songs. Thank you Brandy for all your smiles,hugs, dedication and support!

We love this school! They try so hard to put the student in command of their skills. My son has been taking voice and guitar for more than 4 years with Dominelli, and his skills, confidence, and happiness are off the charts. He's had 2 different voice teachers and 2 different guitar teachers in that time, but that was our choice, not theirs. He is 12 now and loves going to music. They are so accommodating for any pandemic concerns, offering online lessons, which are great if you end up needing to isolate. Dominelli was the only constant in my sons life during the 2020 shut down, and it gave us such comfort to know he could 'see' Jeremy once a week even in the pandemic. The costs are fair, the cancellation/rebooking policy is the best out there, and the teachers and staff are worth more than what you pay for - they respond to any concerns you have within one day. You can tell this school works hard to be there for their students and their families, and it shows.

We love Dominelli Music North Edmonton. My daughter has been their piano student for 2 years. She tried a group piano session at the beginning, and found a learning partner from the group. Now she is having the private piano lesson, and practicing 5-6 times a week. BTW, we’ve also tried their preschool program for 1 year. Small class, nice teachers, lots of music and crafts, and many other fun activities! Highly recommend Dominelli Music school.

I have been attending Dominelli School of Music to improve my piano playing, and I absolutely love the positive atmosphere and encouraging learning environment at the school. I recently joined one of the bands in the Project Vibe program, and I'm having a great time playing around different venues with them. Dominelli School of Music is a great place to learn, to make friends and to become part of a musical community. I highly recommend them to anyone looking for music lessons.

My son went to the Rock camp this past summer and he loved it so much. He had the chance to explore and learn all the different musical instruments for his very first time. The class was a good size so each child still received the right amount of learning and attention from the teacher. My son loved Stasia and she was very good with the children. She was approachable and well liked by all the kids. This camp has further aroused my son's interest in music and ukulele. He will be taking ukulele lessons at Dominelli this fall.The Rock camp is perfect for a child to explore his music interest and the specific lessons he wants to further pursue.

The instructors are great. The administration staff and owner are terrible to deal with. I have never experienced such unprofessional and disrespectful people in my life. I’m still waiting on a response from the owner for over a month. I trust them as much as I trust the chairs in the waiting area…. If you’ve been there, you what I’m talking about.RESPONSE TO THE OWNER** Thank you for responding to me here when you haven’t in fact responded to my email. You recorded my son without my permission and sent a video to someone who isn’t a legal guardian after I said not to and it’s a legal matter…. That is beyond disgusting and disrespectful. You chose to make light of it and act unprofessionally. Your response to me shows how little respect and discretion you use by speaking publicly about a legal situation just because I gave an honest review. I also told you I don’t trust having my son at your school anymore based on the actions of you and your admin staff. I have found a much better school who are more professional and respect the privacy of children. If you could kindly be professional and respond to my email, I would appreciate it, but I won’t hold my breath. Also, you should check your facts before speaking so ignorantly. I never once put your school in the middle of anything. Your admin staff/ your mommy inserted herself into matters and then told an instructor she would prefer not listen to me. You have done nothing to explain your actions. You just laugh it off. I have never posted a google review before but how you treated my family regarding a current legal matter and ignored me was the breaking point.Glad to hear you are fixing the chairs. I’ve heard many parents complaining to your admin for months now. Hopefully no one gets hurt before you get around to it.

My son and I have been attending Dominelli for years now. He started drums with zero previous experience or lessons. I always had a desire to learn electric guitar. Reflecting on these past years, we are both completely satisfied with the level of achievement we have made. We are both in our own bands, and having a “BLAST”All the instructors are quality people and highly skilled! Completely comfortable environment when learning and great exposure to gigging at different venues. I totally recommend anyone to try the “Dominelli” experience!!!!
