Maison McCulloch Hospice

The hospice was the most incredible place for my father to spend his last days. The staff’s kindness and compassion to all family members was incredible. The nursing staff and doctor’s were amazing! Watching the nurses speak to my father when he was conscious was so touching, they truly love their jobs and they could not have handled it any better. When he became unconscious, there care continued and I was always amazed at the dignity displayed by them throughout. As a family we hesitated putting him in here, in reflection it most definitely was the best place for him. Thank you so much, it will never, ever be forgotten!Rob Laderoute

In my husband’s final weeks, he was in our local Hospice facility! The experience was so beautiful! Everything they do is to promote a peaceful, dignified and tranquil time for both the resident and their family.I felt like everything the staff did was to make our final moments with my husband comforting. The environment was very peaceful and everything was so thoughtful!When my husband was admitted, the first thing the staff did was have him choose a guilt square that represented his life and love. My husband was from the Bahamas so he chose a sea guilt square! It was placed outside his room. It was given to me after he passed! They told us that guilts represent warmth and family!We were informed and included in his treatment plan. During my husband’s final days the family were asked what Freddy’s wishes were to keep him comfortable during those days. Every request was met! The staff went above and beyond to ensure both Freddy and our family were given a dignified experience as he transitioned to Heaven!I am so grateful and thankful that we had this opportunity! It’s not easy to say goodbye to someone you love so deeply but I can honestly say that Hospice made Freddy’s passing just a little easier for him and our family! Hospice was our blessing!I’d like to thank everyone who made our experience the best it could be during a very difficult time!I’d like to mention two staff members that made Freddy’s final days so peaceful and showed absolute respect towards our family and my husband during his final moments here! Joel is truly an amazing nurse. Every part of his being showed compassion and understanding! His gentle manner helped ease my initial moments after Freddy’s passing. Thank you Joe!The second staff member was Nurse Melanie. Melanie treated Freddy and our family like we were family. Her warmth and compassion exceed anything we ever expected! Her bubbly spirit brightened and lightened some very heavy moments! Thank you Melanie!God bless! Continue to be exactly what you are, a Godsend during your resident’s journey back Home!

Absolutely the most wonderful place..they had taken great care of my mom rite up till the end. The management and staff are amazing they take pride in what they do at the hospice made everyone feel like family esp. in our time of need. I cant thank you enough for what you have done for my mom and our family.. you all have made an impact on our family and will greatly be missed. Again thank you for the time amd the great care you had given my mom.
