I love nostalgic theaters like this, too many are being taken away. It's a perfect set up, the way it should be once in a while. Please add more movie options here in the future. We can't forget where we've come from, the other theaters will allow us to know where we're going. The staff was great here, everyone. Keep up the great work!

Pretty old school tho has a lot of charm. Seats are comfy but the screen could be updated and the aircon competes with the sound system. Staff are the best tho and it’s great to still have some neoghbourhood single screens around.

This is a proper neighbourhood single-screen cinema. It's huge, has a good screen and good sound and the seats are comfortable. It's within a neighbourhood so lots of people can walk to it and it has decent transit service, on two frequent bus routes. There are neighbourhood cafes and restaurants on the same block for before and after. What's not to love!

No other food selection except an old popcorn, candies & pop.30 year old theater seats. Smelly & gross.

Highly recommend if you like the sound of an HVAC kicking in during your movie. Contrast on the screen is also pretty bad. Either the projector's not bright enough or the screen itself is just too busted but either way, it's rough. I want to like having a small neighborhood theatre but considering tickets here cost the same as elsewhere and the actual experience of watching a movie is wholesale worse... idk.Would love to see the place be updated. Every neighborhood should have its local screen.

Lovely old school charming cinema and one of its strongest points is that it shows really interesting films from time to time, in the last couple of months I seen An Cailín Ciúin (The Quiet Girl) which is an amazing film in as gaeilge (Irish) but now back to back we have had Super Mario Bro's and The little Mermaid which you can watch in any Cineplex around Vancouver. Might as well just have more screens here and make it a regular cineplex or figure out your identity crisis and go back to showing good films.

Movies shown they way they are meant to be. One of my favourite cinemas in the city. Be part of a community as you wait in line together outside. Take advantage of all that mount pleasant has to offer, stop at rain or shine for a cone while you wait. The small lobby and single screen are nostalgic, a stepping back in time and setting the mood for a couple hours of escapism. I find lots of people are on their own here, single viewer cinephiles.

This is the only other theater that plays The French Dispatch in town right now. I was more than surprised to find out how clean and cozy this neighborhood movie house was. It was a very pleasant experience and I would definitely visit again.
