Well maintained and great for biking or walking! Surface is hard packed dirt with small pebbles and occasionally larger rocks or roots.

Slocan Valley Rail Trail, Passmore Trailhead
The trail gets better towards Slocan or at the other end near the junction. It is mostly gravel but there are two paved sections. Overall, you will get to see amazing views, lots of wildlife and informational signs about points of interest along the way. Easy enough for a fair-weather biker. Read all the signs carefully as there are other roads and peoples’ driveways that intersect with the bike trail.
